Often mascaras seem great when you first open the product. This mascara was gooey and clumpy from the get-go. It glues your lashes together with thick clumps. You have to spend a great deal of time using a different applicator to separate your lashes. It does not smudge or flake throughout the day but cannot recommend it due its clumpy formula.

This gets good reviews, so it must work well for someone. But it just didn't work well for me. It clumped, and it never totally dried -- it was sticky on my eyelashes. And the black was really, really black. I looked like I had big clumpy feathery black eyelashes (I have red hair). It flaked and was semi-waterproof. But it wasn't hard to remove with makeup remover.

If you want a mascara that isn’t going anywhere, here it is! Like really, it’s not going anywhere…. Taking it off at the end of the day is the only thing I can complain about-it takes make up remover a couple times plus washing my face to completely remove it. But it’s full, fluffy, dark lashes that last.

I’m really pleasantly surprised by this mascara. I haven’t used drugstore mascara in a long time and this one is great. I usually use stila-huge and I’d say this isn’t pretty comparable. I got it for the brown color and I will say you can’t really tell it’s brown, just looks black.

In general I really like this mascara as it adds volume and length. I also agree with some that after a month or so it begins to clump. But the latest one I purchased had part of the bristles missing from the wand - a section right out of the center of the brush.

i honestly feel that this mascara was a waste of a purchase, the formula and including the wand did nothing for my eyelashes. they made my lashes appear with less volume and length than ever before. The wand was uncomfortable moving through my eyelashes and it was very flakey. Although it did not clump as much, removing the mascara also removed some of my eyelashes too. I recommend sky high because it is a way better formula and a tubing mascara that's less harsh on ur lashes.

I agree that the formula has changed. It’s a more clumpy look now instead of separated lashes - even on their own “before and after” photos. It’s not for me.

Bought this for my daughter about a month ago - the mascara is already so clumpy she can no longer use it. Definitely not clump-resistant as described. I am usually quite happy with Loreal products but this one I will not be buying again.

This used to be my go-to mascara for YEARS. It was Like a dupe for Tarte’s Tarlette but the last few months something happened and it’s a dry, clumpy mess. I imagine “inflation” changed the formula. I used to be able to go about four months or so before it started getting dried out and I could tell my lashes were getting a bit more clumped but now it’s like one month, if that. Not even joking. If I’m gonna go through one mascara a month, I might as well start trying new ones while I’m at it.

My first time trying this product. I chose it for better ingredients than my usual choices. I do not currently have a favorite mascara. My biggest issue is the brush shape is worst I’ve tried. The tip of brush is too wide and clumsy, doesn’t allow me to reach the corners easily. Have been tempted to throw it away, but don’t want to waste the money spent. It is starting to get dry and clumpy after not quite 2months of using it daily. I feel a large part of this due to the fact that I have to wipe off excess in tip of tube, then when you push brush back in there goes a lot of the messy dried up excess back in the tube with the brush. I would not buy this product again.

I have this mascara in the regular version and it’s FANTASTIC! However, the waterproof version does not perform the same at all. Lackluster. It’s also very difficult to get off your eyelashes when it comes time to remove your makeup. Hard pass on this one.
