Large Modern Shape Rug - Room Essentials™

We like this rug, however, quite disappointed that it is not black! It’s like it’s been siting in a warehouse for years fading or something because it is a brownish purple color, so my living room scheme is all thrown off 👎

Happy with the design and quality, holds up pretty good 6 months later with regular vacuuming too

Love the design but in person looks more of a gray than black. Looks like some reviews have the same sentiments and wish I had read them before buying but some pictures appear to be black. So not sure if we are being sent the wrong color.

Love the look of this rug. After a week of using it though, there are several snags. It is a lot more thin than usual rugs I buy at target. It also came with frayed corners and missing threads on the side. Unfortunately I would not recommend this rug.

This is not black. It is more like a charcoal gray, wish I paid attention to the reviews. Now I have to return.

Super cute rug! Unfortunately after a single week of use, it has pulled in multiple places. It is in a low traffic area. I’ve had great rugs from Target before, but this one misses the mark.

We have been needing a new rug in our play area and this one is the perfect fit! The colors, texture and size are all a win for our living space and our family. Everyone enjoys it so much, even our cats!

Somewhat disappointed because I really wanted this rug. The color is more like dark grey then black and cream color. I don't want the hassle of returning the product, so I'm keeping it by default

I love the colorful and playful print on this carpet. The colors and shapes lend themselves well to gamesmanship with both of my children keeping busy seeing if they can traverse it while only using a single shape or color. While I've placed the rug in my son's bedroom/playroom, I believe it to be a versatile and sizeable piece that can brighten up any space be it for a child or an adult. The carpet is low pile and incredibly soft. When it first arrived my son laid out on it and declared that he wanted to sleep there. While I did not oblige, I recognize that the feel of it is great, comfortable to walk and/or sit on. I appreciate that the backing reduces movement. Given the thickness of the rug, or lack thereof, I was concerned about vacuuming it. My reservations were put to rest as the carpet stayed put throughout cleaning. Within a day of use some of the yarn had come out. It wasn't much, but it wasn't ideal. I was able to cut the excess yarn as a quick fix and had it looking new once more. I don't mind that the rug is not the best quality nor is it the most durable because it is good for what it is, a piece that refreshes a space but doesn't represent a large investment, one that will last for awhile until it's replaced when I'm in need of a new look.

This rug is a bad idea. It feels yucky underfoot and has a rubber back, and is white. What does this mean? Because of the rubber back it’s risky to put it on hard wood. The large size means it can’t go in the washing machine. The bad texture means I can’t put it anywhere we will be barefoot or sitting on the floor. The light color means I can’t put it anywhere high traffic because it will get dirty and (see above) can’t be put in the washer. Also, it looks very, very cheap.

This rug is super cute! I love the pattern and it’s very soft. The rubber backing makes it safer since it doesn’t slide around, and means I don’t have to buy a rug pad. FYI, the yarn is looped, and my big dogs played on the rug for about 15 seconds, then caught their nails on the loops, pulling a few of them out. I had to move the rug to another part of the house, where the dogs don’t go. So the rug is no longer pristine, but as long as you don’t have dogs as goofy as mine, your rug will be fine, LOL.

It's super soft and well made, loved the colors and figures it could go with very different styles. It is very easy to set up, unrolled, it is not heavy, and is very thin, and the best of all is that it has very good grip underneath so you don't need to add an extra pad to prevent it to slide all around the area. I was in need of one rug for my living room, and the colors of the rug are perfect for my style and room decor. I really recommend these rug.

I really like this as a staple for my MCM style home. Its colors are plain enough to go with pretty much anything, but it still has an interesting pattern. It also doesn’t curl up at the edges like cheaper rugs so there’s no need to weigh it down with anything. I will say it’s a little closer to dark brown/dark gray in person than it is pure black.

This is a really stylish rug that matches well with most modern decor. It grips the floor well and does not slide around. It is easy to walk over without catching your feet on it. It is light weight so it can be easily moved around. I have no problem vacuuming it and it is pretty stain resistant.

The Threshold modern shape graphic rug in black has a striking print composed of white circles, arches and rectangles against a black background. I prefer a thick, plush rug, but this low pile rug does feel good to walk on. I would say the quality is not as good as other Target brand rugs I have purchased in the past, but it is also more affordably priced. This would be great for a college apartment or kids play room or to separate a seating area in your home.

The Threshold modern graphic rug is a wonderful decor piece. It's a black and white monochromatic rug that goes well with a modern design scheme. I did notice that the black isn't quite pitch black, but is instead a very dark grey, giving it more of an industrial vibe. It's of medium pile so it has a good thickness to it and would work well in any room of the house. One of my favorite features is the anti slip backing. It's made with a rubberized material so the rug stays put and doesn't slip. The material itself is also soft, but durable and I know it will last me years. It's also 5'x7' so big enough to pack a punch in any room. I'm very pleased with this rug and would recommend it to anyone looking for a modern design rug that is durable and looks good in any room.
