    Poor quality and easily broken.

My son received this as a gift. Multiple pieces snapped and broke the first time he used it. The pieces that are supposed to curve to connect simply broke off at the connection leaving tiny little nubs in the ball pieces that required pliers to remove. Don't waste your money.

    Hard pass

Very, very difficult to use and easy to break, even for adults.

Encourages my 6 years olds to think 3D

These are brilliant for challenging my 2 6 years old girls. They can be hard to push together, even for me as an adult, but I suppose they do need to hold tight.

Good concept but doesn't stay together well

The pieces didn't connect very well and often fell apart. Made my kids frustrated.

    Great for many ages

I'm about to purchase my third package of geomakers. I have three kiddos (ages 7, 5, and 2.5) that all love playing with these. The older two can both follow the building instructions and ideas on the provided cards, but usually like to build their own creations. For our soon to be three year old of course its all free creation and play, but he has no trouble maneuvering and assembling the pieces (and attacking his siblings with the creatures he's created). They all like to make buildings, spiders, planets, etc. They come up with all kinds of things. We haven't had any issues with pieces breaking. We have another little one (still an infant) that I'm sure will enjoy them just as much once she's old enough to play with them. I anticipate them being a staple in my kid's homeschool and play for years to come.

    Poor quality

Our kids loved these. But, the sticks broke off when trying to stick them into the balls. Sometimes the sticks don't stay connected

    Meh pass .

I like the idea I just think they need to come with more pieces. I also wished the pictures came in a cardstock paper . The paper ripped easy and had to throw it out .

    Rods break way too easy!

These are very fun and my preschool class really enjoyed them. I bought 2 of these sets around November as a Christmas gift for my class. Unfortunately more than half the rods have ends broken off. My preschoolers are very careful and well behaved. This is a poor design. Would love replacement or money back!

    Flimsy will break

1st rod my son used, immediately broke off in the ball. He was not playing rough, the tips just snap off really easily. He tried use the others but a few more snapped off. They are completely unusable now & my son is sad. Would not recommend.

    8 year old loved it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8-year-old autistic son and 7 year old niece absolutely loved this product. Inside the box was a booklet showing different shapes to make so they were able to go through and replicate what the book was showing. The only downside was one box was not enough for both of them to make everything they wanted. So I would suggest at least a box per child. My four-year-old also loved it. He didn't so much follow the instructions, he just did free play and let his imagination go wild. This was a great product for our household and I will be looking into the other options that are available

    I would not buy again

Broken pieces not able to be removed. Then you have sharp edges on stick and ball. Maybe different material could be used.

    Creative and fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was fun and educational. The kids had to think about what pieces to use and how to build specific things. It can help with learning different shapes in 2D and 3D. The only bad thing is that the ends that fit into the holes broke pretty easily if you tried to make a shape that the pieces couldn't quite do.
