LEGO Icons Concorde Model Plane Building Set 10318

Great value for money, and would recommend it to any Lego enthusiast. I marked down the playability, as I only made it for ornamental purposes.

I was given this kit a a father’s day present from my 4 sons and I was amazed at the level of detail in the kit. I worked in aviation for 40 years and was lucky enough to have a flight in the real thing. The attention to detail is incredible and getting all the under carriage to go up and down in unison is something else. The mechanism runs for nearly a metre through a fuselage that is only 6 studs wide and yet, despite multiple steps up and down to clear obstacles, it still turns easily with no binding. The choice of the prototype colour scheme is very apt and really suits the model. The build definitely has some challenging moments and careful attention to the instructions is vital: if you make a mistake they are not easy to rectify because certain things move and lock into place when the next subassembly is added; requiring major amounts of disassembly to correct. Overall, this is probably the most enjoyable kit I have ever built (and I’ve been building for nearly 60 years!).

The LEGO Icons Concorde is an absolute joy to build and looks exceptional on display. It features incredible details like fully functional flight control surfaces (flaps, ailerons, and rudders), smooth retractable landing gear, and the working iconic droop nose cone. The set has all printed bricks! My only wish is that the wings could easily detach for storage and that the landing gear bays had covers when retracted. Still, it offers exceptional value for the building experience.

One of the best Lego sets ever developed. The set is large, has incredible detail and looks great. The landing gear and nose cone is fully functional and the set has many unique pieces that are specific to the Concorde, without using cumbersome stickers.

This is the biggest set I've ever built, and boy it did not disappoint. It took me 2 days to build, and the display is immaculate.

Great it's huge which is good it took a while to build so the fun lasted and it looks great on my shelf pride of place in my room really a cracking job from the Lego® team here do but this product it's worth it I procrastinated a bit about buying it but it's the best purchase I've made just buy it you won't regret it! :)

The Concorde was a marvel of aeronautical engineering during its glory days. Lego's skillful reproduction resulted in a superb finished product. Having an abundance of positive features makes it fun to assemble. The landing gear can be raised and lowered by rotating the tail cone, making it a unique feature. A sleek and realistic shape is achieved through clever sideways building techniques when creating a highly accurate recreation of the iconic tiltable nose used for visibility during landing. To add to the thoughtful and realistic design touch, the inclusion of temporary orange supports to stabilize the model during construction is a great idea. This project is both mature and challenging, providing a relaxing experience.

Awesome set! As soon as I started building it, I became sad because I knew it would be so fun to build and I’d go through it too quickly. It looks fantastic to display and very fun to build. Highly recommend and hopefully we get more planes like this in the future.

I know that there’s not many ways to design a wing of the Concordes size but all the lines stand out so much. It’s looks beautiful from the side but from the top is looks a little rough. So if you want to show it off put is at near eye or chest level.

Great lego set. Definitely a classic and one that any aviation fan will love

This is my favorite plane of all time and I couldn't wait to add it to my collection. This build was slightly fiddly and I got frustrated at points but that's my fault for building when I'm tired. I would recommend just paying attention while you're building the delta wings upright, it's easy to miss steps that require flipping the build. It's an amazing display piece - just need to find a spot for it.

A great reminder of the past, of better times. A gorgeous plane, and fun to build.

I bought this magnificent concord for my husband. He didn’t have Lego as a child but always loved helping our kids build their Lego gifts. He’s a retired pilot so the concord is perfect for him and he’s loving the challenge

This was a really fun set for me to build. As a huge aviation nerd and a lego lover, this was a very pleasing set for me to build. It is huge, the attention to detail is outstanding, and I only made a couple mistakes, which were easily fixible, so it's not to hard to build. Overall, this is the greatest set I have ever built

Fun Build...easier than anticipated by discription

This was another great build designed by the LEGO Team. Having had an opportunity to go on the real Concorde 40 years ago, this was an excellent opportunity to remember that time. The many pieces went together easily and secure, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Near the beginning I wasn’t satisfied with how the landing gear seemed to be functioning, so I did some disassembly, and reassembled it, as I didn’t want issues later on. It wasn’t the design, it was just me not being careful. If you have the same issue, start over. The gear works great in the end. I will display this for all visitors to see.

this Lego set took me about 4 hours i have been building Legos for a while and the build is very fun and it tells you facts about the plane in real life on the book and Lego needs to make more of these sets because they look really good.

I love the Concorde saw it in the shop and said that I would have it so I bought it and it was worth it
