We bought this TV less than a year and a half ago, and the screen quality has dropped significantly. There are now grayish line across the bottom middle of the screen, making viewing, particularly darker scenes, very distracting.

the TV will not connect to my amplifier via E-arc. this TV replaced an old LG 70" TV that the picture had developed a blue tint. the Earc worked fine with the old TV after much trial and error. I should have avoided a second LG TV. Google let me know this problem is very common an there's no common fix.

Nothing wrong with the TV. I’ll have to agree with the masses….the remote control is horrible and now you have another purchase or get frustrated using the remote that’s provided. I thought they were exaggerating, nope. It does disappoint the LG is following along with most other multi billion dollar companies and finding ways to promote the sale of an accessory by making what is supplied difficult to use, but wait here’s this one you can buy separately that does all the things your old one did. Greed 😔

To configure or deselect favorite channels on your LG 43UQ7070ZUD: To Add Favorites: Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Channels. I've owned this TV about a month now, and still having trouble sorting channels. The instructions included are not good. If try to select certain channels the guides only show the channels preventing me from checking out other channels. I would like a way to deselect certain genre,ex. Westerns, drama, ect. This would make finding channels I like easier.

Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your LG 43UQ7070ZUD sorting channels and finding the included instructions unhelpful. Disappointing Experience with the LG 70UQ70 TV
1 out of 5 stars
Big Bad - 8 months ago
originally posted on lg.com
I recently purchased the LG 70UQ70 TV, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. While I was initially excited about this model, several significant issues have left me regretting my purchase. Picture Quality: The picture quality is extremely pixelated, regardless of the settings I adjust. Whether watching movies or gaming, the display lacks the crispness expected from a 4K TV, leaving me frustrated with subpar visuals. Interface and Performance: The TV’s interface is painfully slow, often taking several seconds to respond to commands. By comparison, my Roku 4K box is leaps and bounds faster, with seamless navigation and voice command functionality directly on its remote, a feature glaringly absent from this TV. Remote and Accessibility Issues: The included remote is basic and lacks voice command capabilities, even though the TV setup process prominently displays voice command disclaimers. To make matters worse, the TV has settings that are only accessible with LG’s Magic Remote, yet it doesn’t come with one. This feels misleading and diminishes the overall usability. Connectivity Limitations: The TV has only two HDMI ports, which is severely limiting for anyone with multiple devices. Additionally, it doesn’t support DNS settings changes, which is a letdown for users who want more control over their network settings. Streaming Performance: Despite having a robust 2TB internet connection with the router in the same room, the TV constantly buffers, displaying the dreaded “circle of doom.” This happens even on apps like Netflix or YouTube. In contrast, my Roku box, operating on the same network, has zero lag or buffering issues. Final Thoughts: For a brand new TV, the LG 70UQ70 feels outdated and underwhelming. Its lack of performance, limited features, and misleading packaging make it difficult to recommend. If you’re considering a 4K smart TV, I suggest looking elsewhere perhaps at a more responsive and feature complete option like the Roku based models.

The picture is good but the tv performs SLOWLY. I bought this tv for my mom as a Christmas gift. I have two much older LG televisions. They are definitely not slow in performance & they are both quite old televisions. If this tv wasn’t so large & if it was being used by me instead of mom, I would return it.

Certainly! Here’s a glowing review for your LG 86-inch Class UQ7070 ZUD Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS 22 TV: Unmatched Cinematic Experience at Home! I recently purchased the LG 86-inch Class UQ7070 ZUD Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS 22 TV, and it has completely transformed my entertainment experience. The massive 86-inch screen delivers stunning picture quality with incredible detail, vibrant colors, and sharp contrast that truly brings every scene to life. Whether I’m watching movies, streaming shows, or playing video games, the visuals are nothing short of breathtaking. The webOS 22 platform is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly, offering seamless access to all my favorite apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Navigating through the interface is smooth, and the built-in AI features, like voice commands, make the experience even more convenient. The sound quality is equally impressive, with rich, clear audio that fills the room without the need for additional speakers. For those who want an even more immersive experience, pairing it with a soundbar takes it to the next level. What sets this TV apart is its sheer size and sleek design—it’s a showstopper in my living room and a great conversation starter. Despite the large size, the TV is surprisingly lightweight and easy to set up. LG has nailed it with this model, offering premium features and unbeatable performance at a reasonable price. If you’re looking for a top-tier home theater experience, the LG 86-inch UQ7070 ZUD Series is a must-buy. Highly recommended! Feel free to tweak this as needed!
