Q: How do I use this? It came with no instructions. I added drop of oil to the top, but I see a photo with someone pouring water? Am I supposed to add water? Where do I add the water? How much water?

  • A: Hello Krys. I am sorry that your Stacking Stones Diffuser did not come with instructions. You can email us at Care@Lifelines.com if you have not already to receive a copy. The unit does need water to turn on (in addition to adding Essential Oil Blend) you can add water into the top of the unit as well as to the base along with the Oil Blend. A couple of drops, more or less of the oil blend depending on the strength of aroma you are looking to experience.

Q: i got this same diffuser and for some reason i set the timer to 8 hours and it automatically shuts off after 10 minutes. the water level is to where its supposed to and it just keeps shutting off.

Q: I love love this diffuser. I've been switching the oil fragrances in this diffuser and now they don't smell so good... kind of all mixed up... almost rancid at times. How can I clean this diffuser? You can't see the oscillating disc. Thank you.

So sorry to hear that the oils are getting mixed up as you switch them out, but not to worry, we have a fix for that! Please try to the following steps for cleaning your Lifelines Stacking Stones Diffuser and it should help clear out the previous oil aromas: - Unplug device and remove stack of stones by twisting counterclockwise. - Wipe diffuser bowl clean with a paper towel. Be gentle! Do not use cleaning chemicals or soaps. - You can rinse stones under water but do not submerge entire unit in water to prevent damage to internal components. Once you remove the Stack of Stones you will be able to see the Oscillating disc. If you have more questions please feel welcome to reach out to us at Care@Lifelines.com Happy Diffusing :)

    Meh. Buy something else.

    It’s ok. The plastic “rocks” sit on a plastic ring, and the rocks eventually warp and stretch out and no longer fit on the ring properly after a couple months. If they are not situated properly after they warp, the unit doesn’t work well. Looks cute but doesn’t work proper after a bit

    Worked once and stopped

    It worked for a few hours and stopped working. I cleaned it and tried it again. It still did not work. It's quite expensive for the poor quality product. It's not worth $40. It's all plastic.

    So far so good!

    I bought this to add to my living room, it’s been on for two hours now and has been running great. I purchased my own oil separately being that what it came with wasn’t 100% oil and that’s not what I was going for. I’ve got two other diffusers and this one is just like any other, only difference is it flows downward rather than shooting upward.

    Does not work

    My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I can't get it to stay on. I followed the directions but this thing does not work. I definitely do not recommend

    Pretty to watch, not much oil diffusion

    I love the vapor and stones, but I don’t smell much essential oil diffusion happening. I love the look of it and the lights. It’s also a little large, and takes up a big chunk of the side table

    Decent mist, very fake looking rocks

    Gives off an okay amount of mist, and holds a decent amount of water. But the rocks look a little too fake. From afar it’s not too bad. $30 is a bit pricey for what you get though.
