Designed for fixing breaks around the house, Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control is a rubber-toughened instant adhesive that resists impact, shock, vibration, and temperature extremes. Ideal for materials subject to daily use and harsh conditions, this tough adhesive has proven superior performance over ordinary super glues for seamless repairs. The Rubber Toughened Formula is also Outdoor Safe and gives more time to align pieces before the glue takes hold. Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control is great for applications requiring high flexibility and works on a wide range of common materials including: leather, cork, paper, cardboard, wood, chipboard, fabric, metal, ceramic, rubber and hard plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate, polystyrene and PVC. Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control is Loctite’s most durable formula and forms resilient bonds that set quickly and fully cure in 12 to 24 hours. Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control features a patented easy side-squeeze design that allows for maximum control and precise application with no dripping or running. Once applied, Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control dries clear and sets without clamping. Not recommended for use on polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), silicone or foam rubber, polystyrene foams, glass, very soft leathers or pure bone china. A: The Ultra Super Glue Control Gel can be used on fabric. However, please make note of the follow: In the case where the Super Glue makes contact to a very porous substrate (e.g. fabrics, cotton, tissue, paper towels, etc.) the glue soaks into the substrate which now has a lot of surface area available for the glue to start polymerization - much more than if the glue is applied to a nonporous material like plastic. The increase in surface area starts the polymerization, and the generation of heat increases the rate of polymerization enough so that some vapor (sometimes referred to as "smoke") can be released from the glue. This is normal depending upon the amounts of glue in contact with the fabric. There is no risk of the glue catching on fire and the smoke/vapor observed is not a result of anything burning but rather the cyanoacrylate glue vapor being released. In some instances, the heat generation may cause a burn if skin contact is made to the fabric.

I give the dispenser bottle five stars because it allows for precise application, but in my experience, the glue itself is not the best for toy repair, which is my main use for super glue, so minus a star for that.

I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but my kids seem to break everything they touch. I tend to super glue most of it back together if possible. I've used a lot of different super glues and this one has been the best. It doesn't ooze out all over. There's an even control of the flow with the squeezable sides. And it's easy to cap and then use again later. I'm not looking for a lot in a super glue, just reasonable functionality. And this one has it! Oh and yes everything has stayed glued together.

He didn’t want to go out and buy a new pair so he used this to glue the seams of the boot that were separated. It worked! He works in all weather too and it’s not come undone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I broke the handle off my favorite coffee cup and used this glue to see if I can fix it and it actually worked used a couple of drops of it and it took no time to dry it good as new will be using this for different items that are broken around the house

I was not sure I could get the pieces to stay (the feet off if a figurine and the feet to a round plastic table) but it worked so well! I blew on it a bit to make it tacky and it stuck fine until it dries. Didn't drip/make a mess and it didn't leave a residue/film on the plastic pieces so they didn't discolor at all like other brands I've used.

The kids' toys, a couple of dishes I inherited, a decoration that fell off my lamp, the unicorn horn on my paperweight, and a broken Valentine decoration. It's been at least 3 weeks since I went on the glue frenzy, but everything is still stuck together. It dried clear and you can't really tell that things were ever broken. It did a great job on the dishes. A great product. And a good idea just to keep a spare tube in the drawer instead of waiting so long to fix all the broken things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the gel formula of this super glue. It works on every surface I've tried it on so far. The side squeeze handles make it easy to dispense the glue exactly where you want it, and it doesn't immediately run off if you're applying it to a vertical surface. This is so much better than the other super glue I was using, which was a thin liquid that immediately spread everywhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always am needing super glue around the house. Usually for plastic and wood. This one works really well. It squeezes out easily and it doesn't start setting right away. Once whatever you're fixing is where it needs to be, just let it sit for a day and it's good to go. It's not noticeable after drying either on most things.
