Finally, a product that doesn't irritate my lips, cause breakouts, AND got rid of my sensitivity from having exposed roots (due to years of orthodontic devices). It's minty enough to feel clean but not so minty that your eyes water. It doesn't feel abrasive or harsh, and quickly relieved my sensitivity-- much more efficiently than other "senso-" products that contain SLS. The only downside is that I noticed if I don't rinse it off my tongue well enough or fast enough, it dulls my sense of taste, but the relief is worth it. I can eat chocolate chip cookies again!

I know the “Dentists Team” refuses to answer these questions when asked before, but I’m asking again because it is vital for the toothpaste’s effectiveness. What size hydroxyapatite nano particles are in this toothpaste? And what is the percentage of hydroxyapatite? It’s not good enough that they’re listed as nano-sized, since anything larger than 20 to 50 nanometers is still “nano-sized” but ineffective. Similarly, I find it suspicious that they refuse to tell anyone what percentage of hydroxyapatite is in the product. Any company that uses the optimal concentration of 10% is proud to answer that question. It’s usually listed on the packaging too when that’s the case. It seems like this company wants people to assume that they are following the set standards of an entirely unregulated ingredient, which is a bit predatory. If I don’t get the answers I’m looking for, I’ll go with Apagard Royal, and I’d implore anyone else to do the same.

Best toothpaste out there

I've used many 5% potassium nitrate toothpastes to help with teeth sensitivity, but this is the only one that actually ELIMINATED my sensitivity. Strange to say, but after a while my teeth also seemed healthier. So it's with deep regret that I need to stop using this terrific product - mint now causes my lips to experience contact dermatitis and there is no non-mint version. Introduce a non-mint flavor and I'll be back in a heartbeat.

This toothpaste is abrasive. It whitens by removing your tooth enamel. Fast whitening results, but increased sensitivity and long-term damage! You should be using a toothpaste with an RDA (abrasiveness) below 70.

Two starts for the ingredients and dentist mission to bring better ingredients and make a better product. After a couple of weeks though my teeth started to feel so sensitive, like everything the sensodyne had worked to do this paste was undoing. My husband had the exact same experience. Needless to say we rushed to Target to get our ol’ sensodyne. Really wished it worked :(

I'm not sure how much enamel this is actually building but I really like the taste. Its not so strong and harsh.

As a person who has a family history with dental issues I thought I would give this a try. Using this toothpaste along with taking better care of my teeth I have seen no cavities in the past 3 years and my teeth feel stronger. Would recommend!!😁🦷

Whyyyy add titanium dioxide to this??? Would have been perfect without this toxic ingredient :(

Made my teeth opaque and re-mineralized. I use this one interchangeably with crest 3d purple whitening one. My middle aged Teeth never looked better, teeth look young and healthy :) super minty and u can unscrew the cap like other toothpastes, for those who mentioned they hate the cap. Or just clean it off once a while. Easy.

It made my teeth sensitive and whitened my teeth even though this does not have any whiten products in it, which leads me to believe it’s wearing down my enamel. I used high strength whitening toothpaste for years before this and have never had a problem.

This toothpaste was over the top with mint. It actually burned my mouth. I eat altoids with no problems. So, that gives you an idea of how strong the toothpaste is. It also doesn't work as good as sensodyne on sensitivity. One-third into the tube, I was having sensitivity issues. I never have that with Sensodyne.

Made By Dentists toothpaste has been a favorite of mine for years. Love that it's ADA accepted and has fluoride. The mint does not burn my mouth, which is a huge plus and I am sensitive to the SLS in most toothpaste. If you ever need to contact Made By Dentists, you'll hear back from them in no time. I've never before experienced the excellent customer service that they provide. Will use this brand for years to come!

This works so much better than the popular brand of sensitivity toothpaste I’ve been using. I do hate the cap but I’ll put up with it

I have been using this toothpaste for 2 weeks now. After having a deep teeth cleaning, the polishing apparently got rid of my protective layer on my teeth and they started staining very bad. No matter how I brushed and what whitening toothpaste I used, the stains stayed! I was frustrated and thought my teeth would stay like this until I get a professional whitening. I made a little search and decided that I needed rebuilding my enamel. This toothpaste popped up in my search and I gave it a try. The stains started fading every day, this is how I knew it is working! I’m highly satisfied with the results and it has been only couple weeks of use.

i love that this toothpaste combines both hydroxyapatite and fluoride to rebuild teeth and prevent cavity decay. the formula foams well, is nicely minty, and leaves my mouth feeling very clean.

If you like a strong mint toothpaste this one is for you. It’s way too strong for me and burns my mouth if I brush for too long. They recommend 2 minutes for the hydroxyapatite to work but it’s tough with the strong burning mint.

Tube to wide and stiff. Swueeze is ok till tube has 1/2 left. After that toothpaste is too difficult to come out when squeezing. Only able to release the remainder by cutting tube open in the middle.

The toothpaste taste and texture is fine. My teeth feel clean after use. My breath feels fresh. But the packaging isn’t good. The cap doesn’t seal completely shut. And the indented opening makes for a mess under the cap. A lot of cleaning it after every use and wasted product. Struggling to not touch the opening with toothbrushes because of the way it comes out. Very soft tube so beware of how you pack this for travel. Definitely needs a packaging upgrade. Don’t know if I’d purchase again because I really don’t like messy toothpaste tubes.
