Q: Can I use my own clay beads to refill the machine?

submitted by Goodvibesonlypleeease2178 - 1 year ago
  • A: Hello and thank you for contacting Make It Real. We do not imply compatibility with any other manufacturers heishi beads. We do carry heishi bead kits that are compatible. Please make sure to look for the "Swift clicks Compatible" logo on the packaging to ensure proper functionality of the unit.

Q: Do the bracelet maker take seed beads or only the flat beads shown???

submitted by Betty - 1 year ago
  • A: Hello and thank you for contacting Make It Real. Swift Clicks Heishi Bracelet Maker only works with the heishi beads. It is compatible with the beads included in the kit and the heishi bead kit that we sell that is marked "Swift Clicks Compatible". That is important to look for as we do carry more than 1 heishi bead kit. We do not imply compatibility with any other manufacturers heishi beads or any kit that we manufacture that does not state that it is "Swift Clicks Compatible".

Q: Where do you find the alignment tool? Just got our kit opened it and cannot find the alignment tool.

submitted by Mel - 1 year ago
  • A: Thank you for contacting Make It Real. The alignment tool comes pre-installed on top of the spool of thread which is located in the base of the unit.

Q: How are the beads reloaded? One by one into the tube by hand?

submitted by Jmom - 1 year ago
  • A: Thank you for contacting Make It Real. The bottom of the base on the unit doubles as a funnel. You line the funnel up with the chamber that you wish to refill and pour the beads into the funnel. You then use the alignment tool to ensure the beads are set correctly in the chamber.

Nine year old granddaughter was very frustrated with this bracelet maker. I wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing this product. Extremely difficult to refill the beads and just as difficult to make a bracelet because the beads would fall out and/or flip while trying to thread the bracelet.

    Cheaply made

This is very poorly made and difficult to set up. The beads get jammed easily and they break in half as well. It takes twice as long to make a bracelet with this than by hand. I’m upset I wasted my money on this. Do not buy!

This product came broken and was way too hard to set up. The instructions are hard to follow and confusing. It came broken and the little metal part was broken, so when I tried to make a bracelet, the beads fell all over the floor.

The first one we bought, the needle device broke when getting it out of the box. Exchanged it for a new one as my daughter really wanted it. Set up for this toy was quite extensive. After doing so, the needle was misaligned and the beads would just fall out of the machine. Sending this one back as well.

I got this. It’s awful. It keeps on spitting out your beads and not on the thread. I think it’s a waste of money and poorly made. Don’t buy.

    Difficult to refill

My daughter and her friends were obsessed with this until it was time to refill. The beads have to be perfectly lined up which is impossible. We ended up throwing it away

    Gimmicky and cheap

This is such a cute idea and it looks so good on the video. Unfortunately, it is very cheaply made. We were missing the bumper bead that holds the ends of the clear elastic together, and allows you to thread your beads over it. It felt like everything had to be perfectly aligned, or you would run into mistakes. Even so, we’d sometimes just not be able to thread beads or have them fall on on the silver threader. Honestly, it’s just gimmicky and you’d be much better off buying beads and thread to manually make bracelets. We bought a second kit for a gift and that one is getting refunded as soon as possible.

Perfect for young kids! Makes the process of making bracelets easy and enjoyable instead of having to insert the beads one by one by hand. Would definitely recommend for any child who enjoys arts and crafts!

Do not buy! The top doesn’t connect to the bottom piece resulting in the beads not coming out through the needle. Absolute junk! Save your money.

Second Try was a Fail.... will return and pick something else.

This is my second one of these and it’s just junk. My needle for the beads and the beads get stuck. It’s impossible for us to finish one bracelet. Such a bummer it seemed like such a neat toy/activity.!
