[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few days ago I received my maytag 1.1 Cubic feet countertop microwave oven and the truth is I really liked the design, it is very favorable for my kitchen, it has good space, its plate is made of very resistant glass to heat without any worries, it heats very well 1000 watts appliance and fast, very easy to use functions, Safety and Security Features, in addition to coming very well packaged it is worth paying for it is the best.

I like that it has a lock function on it. You basically have to hit the stop/unlock button once it’s done to open it. I think this is great, so little kids don’t grab things that are too hot without parent help.

I placed it on my counter and is just the right size, even bigger than the one we currently have, so it is very much needed. The design is beautiful. I like the safety feature it has that it cannot be opened until you press the unlock button. Keeps little hands from touching hot things especially since it is at a level where young children can access it. I like that it is a high-efficiency model and though it does make noise (like most microwaves do) it is nothing excessive.

I like the stainless steel outer look, but I do wish it had an LED light on the inside to make it a bit brighter. As far as how it cooks, it seems to be comparable to every other microwave I’ve ever owned. One thing that bothered me is the push button to open the microwave, it seems a bit loose or not leveled correctly. It doesn’t affect t how it works it’s jut my ocd bothering me lol it’s noise level is about the same as every other small microwave I’ve had too. I do really like that it’s energy efficient as well. Overall o give it 4/5 stars, and I would buy it again if it came down to it I do recommend it!

Micrrowave does not shut or open easily. Needs to be forced each time. Real pain.. Will likely return it, but it is a nuisance to return too.

We purchased this for our kitchen after our old microwave broke as we have other Maytag stainless appliances. It fits our space perfectly and works great.
