Q: does it shread cheese and can you make fries with it

A: It does shred cheese. Be sure that your cheese is cold, you can put it in the freezer for a few minutes for best results. You can not make french fries.

A: This does shred cheese, but it's best to use hard cheese or cheese that has been slightly frozen for best results. You can not make fries with it, but you can grate your potato for hash-browns.
