Bottles opened during shipping - Target's fault.
The soap itself is fine. I'm marking how poorly Target ships them. In the past, when I ordered this soap, Target would tape them shut and put them in plastic bags. I know Target is cutting costs. The bottles arrived as it - no tape, no bag. During shipping, they opened and made a mess. I will not be buying this product from Target again.

New bottle is very poor in quality and design
The dish soap is excellent but the new and improved bottle is not. It’s flimsy and not very sturdy. Already broken after one use and as a result not reusable/refillable. Please bring the old container back

Fantastic scent and awesome grease cutter. Only downside is how drying it is for my hands, but that's what rubber gloves are for! Which body wash scent resembles Lime & Sea Salt the most? I'd love this scent in a body wash!

If you like washing your dishes with perfume, this is the perfect soap for you. In all honesty, this is more heavily perfume than almost any hand soap I’ve ever smelled. Not what I want anywhere near my dishes.

VERY STRONG SCENT that gave me an allergy & asthma attack. Haven't had an attack in decades. Not sure what's in this. Smells like cheap cologne. I question if this product has been tampered with or is a fake as I've used their other products before. Came burst open and leaking all over the box.

Smells like cheap men's cologne.
I was trying to use a healthier product than Dawn. It definitely did the job but it doesn't seem to last as long as Dawn and it smells like cheap men's cologne. I'm not a fan of the body wash either so maybe I just don't like the smell of Method products.

Smells like Axe, bad pump
The very first time I smelled this, I thought it smelled like (artificial) lime, but every time after, all I can smell is Axe Body Spray. The smell lingers on your hands after use. It’s definitely the worst Method scent I’ve ever smelled. In addition, the pump (as of January 2025) is very stiff. It doesn’t stick out far enough or high enough, so there’s not enough room to comfortably press it, especially onto a sponge. It also can’t be pushed down unless the pump is perfectly straight, so it can’t be at a slight angle towards the sink. I hate to waste it, so I’m going to clean my toilet bowl, sinks, and shower with it. Will not repurchase.

Fragrance is just too much
I used to love Method dish soap. Not sure if formula changed but I find the fragrance too overwhelming now. I use silicone plates for my Little toddlers and this seems to leave a soapy aftertaste on the plates themselves that seems to transfer onto the food. I will no longer purchase this. :( TOO STRONG

If you want your dishes to smell like a 14-year-old boy getting ready for the homecoming dance, then this is the product for you. You might see the word "lime" and expect a clean, natural scent, but apparently "sea salt" smells like the off-brand air freshener from grandma's bathroom layered with teen body spray. Cleans well and the refill is a decent value, but loses points for the deceptively named stank.

Dish soap I have used for the last 6+ years
I love this stuff. I'm not big on chemically scented soap and I'm somebody who feels like even Dawn unscented dish soap has a smell. I like that this soap is effective and I love how mild the smell is. I also like that it's a green product. I only use one other Method product regularly out of a handful I've tried over the last ten years... And this soap is one of them. Also I want to add that I buy an individual bottle, and then buy the large refill and I've had the same over bottle for almost a year now. It is just about time to recycle it and buy a new one, but it shows even the recyclable packaging stands up to daily use. Highly recommend.

Smells like chemicals, not lime.
Wish I had researched this before buying. Method markets their products as being eco-friendly but they are not. In addition to ingredients that are harmful to people, they have some ingredients that are very toxic to aquatic life. Search on EWG website for more info. Additionally, this smells like chemicals and nothing like lime.
