Daily Cleaning (After Each Use) Turn off and unplug the coffee maker. Discard the used coffee grounds and filter from the brew basket. Wash the carafe, lid, and filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Wipe the outside of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the coffee maker in water. Deep Cleaning (Monthly or Every 30 Brews) To remove mineral deposits and keep your coffee tasting fresh: What You Need: White vinegar Fresh water Steps: Fill the water reservoir with half vinegar and half water. Place an empty filter in the basket. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Start a brew cycle and let it run for about half the cycle. Turn off the coffee maker and let it sit for 30 minutes to allow the vinegar to break down mineral buildup. Turn the coffee maker back on and complete the brew cycle. Discard the vinegar solution and use a filter. Run 2–3 full cycles of clean water to rinse out any remaining vinegar.     Only brews half the basket of coffee

    I opened the lid to check on my new coffee maker and it was apparent that it was only brewing one corner of the basket with half the coffee staying dry. You can see in the photo that after brewing 10 cups of coffee not all of the coffee even got wet

    I grabbed this coffee maker when mine suddenly died. I forgot (whoops) I’ve owned this one before and didn’t really like it. The water reservoir top opens at the side which makes it awkward to fill. I do like you can make as little as 4 cups or a larger pot. The lines are hard to see on the side and if there is any condensation inside the water reservoir you can’t see them at all. On the pro side the coffee maker is super easy to program.

    Such a disappointment from the previous Mr Coffee makers we’ve purchased over the years. Out of the box, this one smelled like plastic. Cleaned it five times. After a week the plastic smell was still there. And worse, the coffee also tasted like plastic. Had to return. Replaced with a Ninja coffee maker.

    Rusted Parts

    Purchased 6/9/25, it's now 6/30 & the screws inside have rusted. I don't know that we should continue to use it because condensation runs down this area into the pot

    The pause and serve was drippy,,..and water accumulated in the grounds basket area also❓‼️ Single sheet on startup… but no users manual for answers or troubleshooting… VERY Disappointing … and I’m a Mr coffee gal for decades‼️‼️

No worries, we are here to help. For a possible fix, please check if the filter basket is inserted correctly and the carafe is properly placed on the warming plate. Also, try using standard coffee grounds and avoid overfilling the coffee basket. Lastly, make sure not to remove the carafe from the warming plate for more than 30 seconds while brewing. Your coffee maker has a 1-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd kindly request that you contact us directly so we can determine the best resolution. Have a good day!

    Haven't had this coffee maker a month and the heating element has already quit working. Mr Coffee makers use to be very good.

No worries, we are here to help. If your coffee maker is not working, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non-working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the coffee brewer. Let the unit rest for 3-5 minutes. Then, plug it into a different wall outlet. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips, power converters, or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance. Also, make sure that all parts and accessories are properly inserted. Otherwise, it might cause the product not to work properly. Your coffee maker has a 1-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd kindly request that you contact us directly so we can determine the best resolution. Have a good day!

    Broke in 3 days

    Bought May 2025 for $34 and used twice. Didn’t move it from spot, but on third time the plastic made a micro crack and all the water spilled out. The machine hadn’t been dropped or banged. Somehow the heat made the plastic split after three uses. My last Mr. Coffee like this last 10 years before the heater went out, the 2025 version lasted three days.
