I love cacao nibs in my yogurt or overnight oats. The bad reviews seem to be from people who don’t know what cacao nibs are: they are the dried cocoa bean, so technically it’s not chocolate, it’s just the bean used to make chocolate. Chocolate is the bean after it’s been processed which means adding oils/fats along with sugar. Cacao nibs do not have the texture or same flavor as regular chocolate since it’s just the bean. They are crunchy, dry, and a bit bitter, similar to dark chocolate but less chocolate flavor.
