A: Thanks for your inquiry, Jimmy. The layer that forms on top of each brewed coffee is a combination of coffee and air called the crema and is naturally created during the extraction process. Crema is a sign of high-quality coffee and has been a signature feature of our espresso. It does not contain any dairy or additives and will gradually subside as you enjoy your coffee. A: Thanks for your inquiry, Jamie. It is normal for all Nespresso machines to make some noise during operation. Please keep in mind the following factors that may be contributing to the noise: • New machines with brand new pumps will produce less noise over time. • If operating without water in the tank, the pump will be louder. • A capsule in the capsule chamber will dampen the noise of the pump. • The machine should be stable, with four rubber feet on the bottom. If any rubber feet are missing, it may cause an abnormal vibration. • The ideal surface for the machine should be solid and flat such as hard wood or a granite countertop. I wanted to love this from the moment I saw it. And, I did! It is an absolute delight to use and looks fabulous in any kitchen. It is so easy to customize your beverage selection and creates a yummy treat for even espresso snobs. Love this machine more every time I use it. I can make my beverage quietly in the morning without disturbing the rest of the house! It is perfect for houseguests to use…it just makes their stay extra special.

Made my first cup of espresso, delicious flavor. It's very easy to set up and use. It only took about 2 minutes to set up, including running a cycle. This is done to wash out anything from the manufacturer's process. Also, setting up Bluetooth was easy, so I could program my perfect cup through your app.

The sleek design allows for it to match your space and look expensive while being reasonably priced! There’s multiple brewing options depending on what you’re looking for and it’s easy to clean. It’s not too noisy when making an early morning cup of coffee and there’s so many pods to choose from and it comes with a sample package of pods what have many of great options!

After being a long time nespresso user (original machines over 20 years) I bought a vertuo machine a month ago. We wanted the option to have a regular cup of coffee once in a while. Well, the coffee flavor is so disappointing. It’s watery. Even the espresso pods are disappointing. It’s so bad I don’t even feel like I can give it away. It’s going in the garbage! Fortunately, I kept my original machine in the garage. I will go back to ordering original pods for my daily cappuccino.

Have had recurring problems with the machine over brewing. It’s less than 3 months old. I keep getting the run around and nespresso refuses to honor the warranty and replace. They insist that I keep running the same cycle of troubleshooting that temporarily fixes the problem until it recurs in a month. Be careful, the warranty seems to not be worth the ink it’s printed with.

This coffee machine is a piece of Junk that I would not recommend unless you enjoy having a full mass of coffee spread all over your counter. The machine has an adjustable cup holder that I use at the bottom placement. His cup holder does not fit into the slot that can be locked into place. Even if you test it before using it to make sure it’s fitted properly does not help. Simply adding the coffee cup can dislodge the holder resulting in coffee missing the cup and spilling out coffee everywhere. I repeat, do not buy this. Coffee maker. Complete junk. One star because it is required to send this review.

But I have Rhumatoid Arthritis so with this machine, if you are looking for one that does not require any hard hand pressure from you....this is the machine for you. I have had my machine going on 3 years and it is very inconsistent. I loved it at first but over the past few years, it will not pull water through the machine even after attempts at cleaning and resetting the machine. Given the price, I would expect it to last more than 3 years. Save your money and find a more reliable machine.

Nothing beats the convenience of a Nepresso machine on a busy morning. There's tons of different capsule flavors to choose from and the machine heats up and dispenses so quickly. The water reservoir is a decent size and I don't need to refill often. It's also easy to clean the different parts of the machine when needed. The milk frother is also great for milk-based drinks.

Purchased a Vertuo Next machine which included the frother - due to having Nespresso at a family member’s home and loved it - the of March, 2025, it started leaking water underneath as well as all over our counter after a couple of weeks, thought it was the water tank, tried another water tank, still leaked but never did when water tank was set on the counter by itself so returned the machine where we purchased, decided to order a Vertuo Evoluo hoping it works better and if it does not we will sadly have to stop drinking Nespresso.

I use my nespresso every single day and I love it so much!!!! Now that I drink espresso I literally can’t do regular coffee. I love how easy and convenient it is to pop a pod in and how fast it gets hot! Literally gets hot in 30 seconds. I couldn’t live without my nespresso. The only downside is the pods are very expensive which sucks but in the end it’s worth it.

Lets get the good out of the way. The latest machine has been great at making coffee. Compared to my previous preference French Press. The bad is first it took over 3 machines to get to that point, and now even the good machine is failing. So let's back up, attempt #1 - I bought a refurbished machine at first, the price was excellent. Unfortunately the water tank leaked all over my counter the first moment I filled it up. Never got to even try it. and since it was refurbished I had to buy my own pods so was stuck with the option to throw away all the pods or try another. I foolishly went with the.... #2 - After returning the first I decided to try a new machine. Opted for the Vertuo Next (same as first). This worked for 3 months and honestly in hindsight the coffee wasn't that special, more comparable to French Press It also leaked into the spent pod bin a bit (not as much as what follows). This slowly started to not-recognizing the pods anymore. I was able to limp it along with frequent cleanings, almost daily but that is a waste of energy and time, something the machine was supposed to resolve. #3 - After contacting support, and RMA'd the machine, the next machine seemed to send too much coffee into the overflow pod bin. Coffee was flat, and it eventually just sent all the caffee to the overflow when 'brewing' getting all on the counter top. This was less than 3 weeks after receiving. #4 - This started out great out of the box. The coffee was immediately so many times better than anything before it, exceeding most coffee shops. This is how it should have been from the get go. I took care of it, only filtered water, weekly rinse cycles if not more, descaling at least every 3 mo before prompting from the machine.... No issues for about a year. Then the same problem as #2. It just stopped recognizing pods. It rinses, cleans, descales, motor moves, but will not recognize pods. There is no manual override on these either which is if you could may get around some of the issues. And by an override, I mean a way to force a brew parameters even when the barcode is not recognized.
