Description
Nespresso introduces the VertuoPlus by De'Longhi, with an all-new design and colors for the ultimate brewing experience. Offering freshly brewed Coffee with crema as well as delicious, authentic Espresso, the VertuoPlus coffee machine conveniently makes 4 cup sizes at the touch of a button: 5oz, 8oz Coffee and single and double Espresso. It uses two different pod sizes: large capsule Coffee and a small one for Espresso. Nespresso brings together the know-how of all its coffee experts, who have carefully chosen the origin and roasting of each coffee blend and created a brewing system using Centrifusion technology, a patented extraction technology developed by Nespresso. Just insert a pod and close the lever — when activated, the capsule spins up to 7,000 rotations per minute, blending ground coffee with water and producing the perfect crema to enjoy quality coffee in larger cup sizes. The Nespresso machine delivers the optimal in-cup results for each blend using capsule-specific brewing with barcode reading. I was skeptical about a vertuo machine after recovering this as a gift since I’d enjoyed my original line machine for nearly 7 years. However, after the first cup I was hooked! It’s a lot quieter and I like that it can prepare a variety of different types of coffee. My only wish is that the pods themselves weren’t so expensive.

I had this for a few years and at first I thought it was great then the quality tucked and paying so much for a drink at home and wasteful less of the pods decided to get a semi automatic machine and grind beans. Much tastier and better than this.

I love my VertuoPlus. However, it broke after a year, just outside of the warranty period. Multiple reviews have shown the same issue: The gray cup inside that holds (and I assume spins) the pods popped out. After many attempts, I was able to screw it back in but it hasn't worked 100% right ever since. It brews espresso. However, it's loud and no longer ejects pods. Taste: 5 stars. Longevity: 2.5 stars.

The compact design makes it ideal for any counter space. It has a quite heating process, that is also quick, reducing time wasted waiting for your espresso to brew. Speaking of brewing, it has an auto brew size calibration determined by the size of the pod. Whether you are looking for a single shot, double shot, or a full cup of coffee, it will calibrate for you.

The weak plastic for the used pod puller doesn’t pick up the bigger pods, but I don’t get too dirty manually moving the pod to the discard bin. I love that this machine makes all of the varieties of virtuo pods.

Got this machine for Christmas 6 months ago and have had nothing but trouble. The capsule container that pops out the previous brew has broken and it constantly has the red green light go off on the machine. This is a nightmare! Too expensive to be experiencing these issues.

Nice design and typical function. I bought this machine in 2022 (3 years ago) and use it about daily for up to 3 cups/day. Super disappointed that the MOTOR is now not functional. One would think that an expensive machine like this would last longer ... I am not sure if it is this one's manufacturing. I am think ing that it is.
