Q: What chemical does this blender contain that led to stating the p65 warning? Is the chemical enclosed in cords or is it on the outside?

A: We're required by law in the State of California to include the Prop 65 Warning. We include the warning in abundance of caution and to comply with this California warning mandate. A: To lock the pitcher onto this blender, place the pitcher on the motor base so the handle is facing you, then turn the pitcher clockwise until you hear it click into place. This means it’s securely locked and ready to use. Honestly, I can’t say this blender is even just okay. It kinda sucks. Way too expensive for the results. I got this when it was on sale so I opted for it bc of the reviews and price but let me say, look elsewhere. If you’re able to invest a little more for an actual good one, I know harder said than done, I definitely would. You can see the little chunks in the pic. I mean it gets the job done.

I just bought this and made my protein shake. This is worth every penny. Ease of use, safe, and does its job. I have not used ice yet but frozen berries were dissolved with no residue. No clumps. So smooth and creamy. Base has suction cups and stays put. Holds up to 7 cups so it will be more than enough room. Easy to clean. Simple instructions. Lid locks in place with the handle and will not lower until it is on top of the pitcher. Careful with the blades. Grab the spindle from the top as instructed to prevent injury. Very sharp. Best kitchen investment I’ve made. My first Ninja!
