Nostalgia Aqua 2-Quart Digital Ice Cream Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to claim this nostalgia ice cream maker, finally got to use it to make ice cream, it comes with an instruction manual with a few recipes in it, well I trued the creamy and rich chocolate , , great recipe, but the ice cream maker didn't freeze the mixture , it is however easy to use, and clean, it is preset for 40 min, which the book says 20 to 40 min, u can adjust the time, one of the cons, is its hard to lift the canister out of the unit, when it's full of mixture, they didn't allow for that, lol so bcuz it didn't freeze the mixture I gave it 1 star, I was really disappointed with this

Love that it a portal Size which does not take space on the counter in the house. Great size for a family of 4. I refuse to buy ice cream from the store when I can make my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was absolutely thrilled by this product! This ice cream maker was a gift for my daughter for her birthday, and she was able to make her own custard based French Vanilla ice cream that tastes 100% better than anything store bought. To start the process, we cooked eggs, sugar, and milk to create a custard. Then, we mixed cream and vanilla. Both of these items sat overnight in the fridge while the mixing drum stayed in the freezer overnight. Then, we poured both mixtures into the frozen drum and let it mix for 45 minutes, creating the ice cream. After it was mixed, we removed the drum and poured out ice cream into a container to freeze more solidly. The machine itself was very quiet. Our mixture created about 1 quart of ice cream and our only suggestion to improve the machine would be some sort of fold out handle to get the drum out cleanly/easily after the ice cream had been mixed. My daughter loved the process, and the outcome was DELICIOUS. We plan on using this machine every weekend and experimenting with other flavors.

It’s incredibly easy to use, which is a huge help when experimenting with different recipes (which can be a bit challenging in itself). Here are some key tips I’ve picked up so far: make the base in advance and let it cool completely for hours before freezing the canister. You only need to click a button to get started and then just watch the magic happen. The 2 quart size is perfect giving enough ice cream servings for a family which compact enough to store away when not in use. I wish the machine canister was easier to remove from the frame and pop into the freezer or clean. I can’t wait to keep making more ice cream and refining my recipe!

We used nostalgia s basic vanilla mix and turned it into a strawberry-oreo-vanilla creation by adding some frozen strawberries and Oreo and it turned out good .nostalgia s ice cream mix are so creamy and easy to make .The best part? Ice cream maker was incredibly easy to put together and clean up afterward. Such a fun little adventure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice cream maker was so much fun! I used it with my five year old and she absolutely loved it. We followed the easy vanilla ice cream recipe that came with the maker and it turned out perfect. We added in cookies halfway through. The texture came out similar to a milkshake texture at first, then we froze the ice cream overnight and it firmed up beautifully. The machine itself was easy to set up. It’s a little noisy while running, but that’s no big deal. I will definitely be using this a lot during the summer months!
