My skin is very oily, so I like to use primers that help prevent shine for as long as possible—and this one does exactly that. Normally, my skin would get oily two to three hours after applying makeup, but with this product, I can go up to five or six hours before needing to touch up. It’s amazing!

I don’t have a photo as I am out of town but I carry this with me when I travel! I wore it recently to my engagement shoot in the hot Texan summer and it held up so well! It went on smooth and didn’t peel or separate. The smell wasn’t super strong or chemically like some matte primers I have tried on the past. I’d give this a 8/10 o

I tried the NYX Shine Killer and honestly, it works pretty well if you have oily skin like me. The texture is super light and smooth, and it doesn’t feel heavy at all. I usually use it before foundation, and it really helps keep the shine away for a few hours. My T-zone still gets a bit oily later in the day, but nothing crazy. It doesn’t blur pores or anything, but it does a good job at mattifying. For the price, I think it’s a solid option if you want something simple to control oil.

While I love the packaging it come in (I am a personal believer the cuter the better) the product it self was good but not my favorite! For what you pay I thought it was great however I found it came over very easy and did not last throughout my work day. I would purchase again for smaller events like a dinner or drinks with the girls!

I tried the NYX Shine Killer hoping for a solid matte base under my makeup, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. The texture felt a bit silicone-heavy and didn’t fully absorb into my skin. While it did reduce shine slightly upon application, it didn’t last through the day—especially in humid conditions. The packaging is travel-friendly, but performance-wise, I expected more for oily skin. If you’re super oily, this might not be your go-to solution.

It has a lightweight, almost silicone-like texture that glides on easily and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. My makeup applies smoothly on top without pilling. It won’t keep you totally matte all day, especially if you’re very oily, but it definitely makes a difference and helps control excess shine. For the price, it’s an excellent product to have in your routine.

I tried the Shine Killer Mini and was impressed by how lightweight and smooth it felt on my skin. It helped control my oil for a few hours and made my makeup go on nicely. Perfect size for my bag, though I wish it lasted a bit longer. Still a great buy for touch-ups and travel!
