BEST PRIMER EVER
I am a spend a lot of money on trying things at Sephora girly. I’ve tried nearly every expensive primer on the market. I rarely use drug store anything and primarily use Bobbi Brown Face Base Vitamin C primer…. I’ve tried soooo many primers throughout the years. All the expensive brands, even some cheaper ones. Face base was the best I thought I was going to get. And THEN, I thought what the heck I’m going to try this product and I am here to tell you it is hands down the best primer I have ever used in my life. I also rarely leave reviews but I absolutely had to for this one. It’s hydrating, my make up literally does not move (EVEN ON MY NOSE). It’s amazing and I cannot stress this enough that I have tried every expensive primer out there. This is the best primer ever. I will never use anything else again. My makeup after being in the sun all day with even some sweat, has not budged and I’m on day 2-3 of using it and tried it with different skin tints and foundation. I will say it does look better under some over others but either way, it lasts from 7 AMA TO 10 PM when I wash it off. Love love love

Good product, great price
This has been my face primer for every day looks. It helps hold on my makeup longer and isn’t drying or greasy. For the price point, this one can’t really be beat. I would recommend.

Not as impressing as I hoped.
Not sticky at all. These kinda of products remind me of the milk hydro grip or the elf gripping primer. They are meant to dry sticky so that the foundation and concealer sticks on. I apply the primer let it dry and nothing it’s not sticky at all. I do notice however that it does help my makeup stay on longer. It’s not that it doesn’t work but it doesn’t measure up to the other competitors on the market. I just expected it to work better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like the NYX Face Glue primer because I’d heard so much hype about how well it grips makeup and keeps it in place all day. The texture feels interesting at first—kind of tacky in a way that seems like it should help foundation stick better—and it does initially help makeup apply smoothly. However, it just didn’t work well for me in real use. After applying, I found that my makeup didn’t sit as nicely as expected and started to feel a bit uncomfortable throughout the day. Instead of giving a flawless long-wear finish, it ended up feeling heavy and didn’t really improve the overall look or longevity of my makeup the way I hoped. Overall, it might work for some people, especially those with oily skin who like a very strong grip, but for me it was disappointing and not something I would repurchase.

It isn't good, but it isn't bad, keeps makeup on for a decent amount of time. I didn't feel as if it would allow my naketo stick all day. Decent product, just the price doesn't seem on par with the performance.

Makes foundation pill
When using this, my foundation “pills” or peels off my face. By the end of the day, my face is splotchy. This doesn’t happen when using the same foundation with other primers. Yes I wait for it to dry and I don’t use too many topical products/layer too many. I’m sad this doesn’t work as I wanted the “glue” or staying power. Would give 0 stars if possible

Pilling can often occur when the specific technology in a gripping primer interacts with certain ingredients in a foundation, particularly if they have different base textures. To help the formula set seamlessly, we suggest starting with a very small, pea-sized amount and focusing it only on the areas where you need the most staying power. Instead of rubbing the product into your skin, try gently patting both the primer and your foundation into place with your fingertips or a damp beauty sponge to avoid disturbing the grip layer. Allowing your skincare to fully absorb for several minutes before applying the primer can also create a more stable surface for the "glue" to adhere to, ensuring your look stays locked in and smooth from morning until night.
