It works really well to grip my makeup. I have oily skin so I have to take that into consideration when trying new products. Though my makeup lasted a tad longer, I was still an oily mess by hour 6.

Was really excited to try this, application looked great until about 8 hrs in, then my eye lids got really itchy and I removed my make up, woke up the next morning with very swollen eye lids- avoid this product if you have sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, this primer was a letdown. Despite the name, it doesn’t really glue makeup in place the way you’d expect. The texture is super sticky, almost like actual glue. but once it sets, it doesn’t do much to extend wear or lock things in. If you’re looking for long-lasting grip, this might not be it. The packaging is cutesy but not functional. The scent is pretty neutral.

so compared to the E.L.F power grip, this one is a bit less gripping but when the elf one drys it’s not grippy and the nyx glue stays grippy. my makeup went on nicely and it felt nice on my face. packaging is also soo cute

This is the first primer that I have found in a very long time that works for me. It goes on smooth it's not sticky it lasts a long time and it adheres to my skin without a heavy feeling. I love it!
