Olive & June Mini File & Buffer Set - 2pc

Super cute,and perfect to fit in a purse or emergency kit!!! Also love that it came with 2 of each!!! Definitely recommend will purchase again!

I have a soft spot for small items, and this particular one stands out because it’s both compact and practical. I keep it in my purse, and it has been incredibly helpful. Since I prefer to keep my nails natural, I sometimes find myself breaking a nail unexpectedly. Having this tiny nail file on hand allows me to fix my nails easily while I’m out. Plus, it doesn’t take up much space in my purse and is sturdier than others I’ve owned, making it perfect for traveling. I’m not sure I would reach for this while I’m at home, and although I’ve had it for a few months now, I have yet to use the buffer. While I think the cost is a bit high, you’re essentially paying for the convenience of having two tiny files and two tiny buffers for on-the-go nail care.

The mini files and buffers in this set are tiny but I’ve found multiple places to store them — my desk drawer, my purses, my nightstand — and they are always in easy reach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I LOVE tiny things. I don't know why, but tiny things are just awesome. So I'm a little sad that I'm not more in love with the mini file/buffer pack. The pack comes with two ultra mini files and two ultra mini buffers. I say "ultra mini" because the weekender and holiday calendars already have regular "mini" versions of both that are slightly bigger than these but not as big as the regular ones. (See included photo for the regular size, regular "mini," and this item "ultra mini" files and buffers.) The ultra mini file is probably one I'll use the most as it's a great size for slipping into the smallest travel bag or purse pocket. There's less to hold on to, so it takes a minute to get used to handling it, but other than that, it's a great item to have in a pinch if you crack or chip a nail on the go. The ultra mini buffer, though, I'm not sure I'd really use. It's great to fit into a mini manicure kit for travel or emergencies, but as I only use the buffer about once a month during a full manicure, there's no reason to keep a mini buffer around as I wouldn't ever need to use it in an emergency or even that much "on the go" as I would the file. I probably wouldn't buy this full set again for myself, but would probably buy just the ultra mini files if they were sold separately and stash one EVERY WHERE. If you don't already have the regular mini versions of either, this is a great starter kit. It's also great as a stocking stuffer or other little small gift or as part of a mini beginner set.

These are just the right size to toss in your bag or car. They are perfect for on the go touch ups! Together with my cuticle serum I love having these in the car or my bag for when I’m out and need a little touch up. Would also be awesome for travel.
