UGH, I hate to write
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UGH, I hate to write anything negative as I love O & J. I already had trouble with the regular gel’s peeling off, but this didn’t even make it 24 hours. And it damaged my nails pretty badly. Half of it would peel so I wasn’t able to just leave it and so when I had to peel the rest off, it ripped the top layer of my nails. I reached out for help and they told me I put it on bar nails, and I followed the tutorial each step. Maybe there’s something wrong that my nails that it doesn’t adhere to. I don’t know. Sigh. I love the kid and really wanted it to work. I’ll leave a photo of my nails after you can see the last nail is still peeling off, but I’m afraid to pull it.

Fantastic Builder gel!
The kit is simple to use and I was able to add length to a nail that was broken and painful. Once I built the nail length, there was no pain and it has grown out. VERY happy with the ability to do this on my own. I travel constantly so getting to a salon was near impossible. There has been no lifting of my manicure which is a plus!

does not cure
i have tried this builder gel 3 different times and am very disappointed. the first time with an olive and june gel and top coat. bottom didnt seem to cure and it peeled off in less than 24 hours. the second time i just did it with a top coat and it also didn’t cure. (obviously im doing this one coat at a time but im just giving examples of different ways ive tried it. ) didn’t seem to cure and peeled off under 24 hours. then i tried it by itself and if didnt cure despite almost having my hand under the lamp for 5-10 minutes. was sticky and didn’t even bother waiting for it to peel off.

The gel would not cure in the light. The extension kept peeling off either the mold. Do not buy! The gel that was on the nail would wipe away after curing 5-7 min.

The builder polish did not work for me. It peeled off the next day. I tried it again the following day and the same thing happened.

Top coat gel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s easy to apply. But it doesn’t do a great job at stopping nail polish from chipping and peeling. I bought the gel kit hoping it would last. It looked beautiful but I was hoping the gel polish would last I’ve tried it twice now following all instructions and I only got 6 days the first time and 7 days the second. By day ten I had several nails without polish on them they just peeled off. I didn’t use the peel off gel polish base coat. I did try that one and it only lasted 2 days before peeling off.

The top coat has stayed shine through me working with horses and getting dirty. No chips, no lack of shine. I can walk away from the dirty work and they still look salon quality great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great! I haven’t had any issues with chipping or peeling. I’m rough on my nails and see some minor “erosion” at the very tips of my nails after week 2 ish. That said, these manis still last me until I take them off!!!

Skeptical to Success
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not going to lie, I was skeptical as I started this. I’ve never painted builder gel before, let alone done nail extensions. But I just followed the instructions in the kit, and trusted the process. After the first coat I thought there’s no way I can build out length that will last. But, magically after the second coat I had long, strong nails! To say I was shocked is an understatement. I used the clear builder gel to build my nails out, and then painted over them with a long lasting color. I’m excited to take a masterclass to improve my technique!

This whole box felt like a lie. There aren't good instructions or recommendations on the outside of the box so you don't know what extras you might need(like base coat before adding color) until you are home with the open box. The gel builder is junk and does not work at all like it shows in the instructional video or instructions. the perforated paper made the nail...also perforated..but that didn't matter because the nail extensions themselves were garbage. The builder did stick well to the actual fingernail. that was the only thing that worked right...it says you can take it off by soaking the your fingers in acetone for 10-15 minutes. This also definitely did not work..,
