A: Oral-B iO brushes are only compatible with iO Brush Heads. The iO2 brush will not work with non-iO/the original Oral-B brush heads.

The charging time is nice, and I have no problems with it. I love how well it cleans my teeth, I love the timed aspect of the vibrations to let you know to switch sides. I honestly never believed the hype that you could tell a difference between a regular toothbrush and an Oral B. It is all true. My teeth feel so much cleaner since using the Oral B! The toothbrush has 3 speeds and it has a timer that buzzes every 15 seconds so you know to change positions. I would definitely recommend this toothbrush for anyone looking to get that fresh feeling.

As you mentioned, your iO2 has three cleaning settings. Your brush starts in Super-Sensitive mode, unless you changed the settings so that it starts in one of the others. Switch to Sensitive/Gentle Clean or Daily Clean by quickly pressing the on/off button. Give each mode a try, you might find that more time with one using a specific mode may help improve your experience. Another thing that might help is giving the Gentle Clean brush head a try. They make my teeth feel like they got professionally cleaned at the dentist. Great battery life, I used it for 2 full weeks out of the box before having to charge it for the first time. Sleek design, not bulky at all so it will be super easy to travel with. This has great features like 30-second timers to let you know when to switch sides, a pressure sensor to ensure you don’t put too much pressure on your gums and 3 different cleaning settings. I love the 30 second timers as it does a good job to promote healthy brushing habits and ensure my whole mouth gets a good clean.
