I'm a big OSTER blender fan. My last one worked well for over 12 years with daily uasge! This new Easy-to-Clean Blender has been working great so far. But unfortunately the 20 oz. Blend-n-Go Cup leaks badly. We'll have to throw it out. For me it's not a total deal breaker. Again, I'm confident the blender will provide years & years of service. But I was kinda looking forward to the smoothies on the go with the cup. Can the cup be replaced??

I used this blender 4 times before it failed on the 4th time using it. Tried it first with the standard glass and it was ok, but not the best at blending if there wasn't a lot of liquid. The next 2 times I used the plastic blend-n-go cup for smoothies and it worked fine but attaching the blade with the plastic ring was a paid. The 4th time I also went to make a smoothie with the plastic cup and the ring didn't quite seal right so it got sucked into the blade and chopped up. Fail! Unfortunately, I didn't use it when I first bought the blender and it sat in the box for a while and now I find myself 7 days past the return window with a blender that I've only used 4 times (just 3 successful times) that I can't return.

Doesn’t finely blend. Leaves tiny bits in smoothie or soup even after a long time of ‘liquify’ blending. Our older blender we had for ten years blended smoothly. This also had consistent burning smell when in use. Returned it. Looking for a higher wattage blender with glass jar to avoid health risks of microplastics in foods.

Blades broke while making a smoothie a year and a half after purchase. Since it was within the warranty window, I tried filing a claim. Unfortunately, the warranty form has outdated instructions. Specifically, I was unable to locate the supplier code. Without this information, I’m blocked from submitting the warranty claim. I tried calling their customer support, but was unable to reach a live person. Next I tried a contact us form. That seems to have a glitch and won’t let me submit the form. Based on this experience, I will not buy Oster brand again.

I used this blender for the first time and it immediately started smoking. I chalked it up to normal first-time appliance use and continued blending. After maybe 2 minutes, the entire device shut off and began smoking profusely. The device was very hot to the touch. We ran it outside and submerged it in water to avoid further burning. No way I was going to plug it back in. Was only using it for a fruit smoothie and it did a pretty terrible job. The buttons felt very cheap and overall does not seem like a great blender.

I needed an everyday blender other than my Vitamix and I went with this one. It worked fine with my protein shake. Done. I tried pouring the shake into the Blend-n-Go Cup, but the design is useless in terms of sipping the shake. The lid made it difficult to drink and the opening was so small. I would never use it for carrying around. The Blend-n-Go cup does fit the blender (as one reviewer said he needed a part for it to work, which is not the case). I'm not sure whether there would be enough room in the Blend-n-Go cup to allow the contents to mix thoroughly. One reviewer used a Mason jar to use mix up salad dressings. Brilliant idea. You would need to have enough room in the jar to allow the mixture to blend.

I bought this blender because I was looking for a cheap, easy to clean blender. It is quite literally the worst blender ever made. The pitcher part doesn't lock into the base so you have to hold it tight, otherwise it will fly off. I thought I was putting it on wrong but there are no instructions on the packet or on the website. It doesn't even blend well, it blends horribly. And when I run it on anything other than the slowest speed, it smells like smoke and gets physically hot. Worst blender known to man.

Worst blender I ever had. The sealing ring broke on the second use, and it doesn’t blend all the way, I tried to do a smoothie and left big pieces of food without blend, not even with extra time blending. Is cheaper in other places. Disappointed.

Initially quite happy with this blender. Then it started not working properly and you could smell that electrical burn smell. Finally, it just quit one day. Didn’t even last for two years and that was with irregular use.
