For medium hair, this color-safe, hydrating shampoo strengthens & adds shine while cleansing, eliminating frizz & leaving hair smelling amazing.

BABASSU OIL - Provides hydration to hair and scalp
COCONUT OIL - Strengthens, helps seal split ends and reduces breakage

How To Use:
• Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends with luke warm water.
• Lather a quarter size amount of MEDIUM shampoo in hands and then work into roots and where hair touches the scalp.
• Rinse shampoo. Squeeze out excess moisture before applying conditioner.
• Apply a quarter size amount of MEDIUM conditioner, focusing on midshaft and ends.
• Rinse with cold water to close the hair cuticle and added shine.
Scented with Mercer Street – an outspoken fragrance that a-OUAI-kens the senses with notes of Italian lemon, Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, iris, lily, and white musk.

Stripped my hair from all oils
The smell is ok. Cleans *too* well – felt like it stripped my hair from all oils and moisture it had, to the point where it was impossible to brush and felt like a shower scrubber. Could not use it more than once. For reference, my hair is normal, straight, medium porosity, very low maintenance about the products I use.

Awesome shampoo
Ive been using for a month I pair it with the conditioner and ive noticed a difference. When I heat style my hair is shiny and frizz free. When I air dry my hair hair is shiny and friz free. I definitely recommend the teo together

Stripped Hair of Natural Oils
While it had a fairly nice scent and felt clean, it also stripped my hair of all natural oils. Each time I used my hair required extra leave in conditioner. I'm a curly girl and moisture is key, not stripping it of its oils.

Fragrance Heavy
The shampoo itself is decent but people are right when they say it's heavily fragranced. I normally don't mind fragrance and I actually really like the smell of this one. It just has a lot of it that it irritated my scalp and i got red bumps from irritation that i had to stop. I normally love Ouai products but I probably won't buy again.

Every time I use this product I love it. It leaves my hair shiny and soft and it smells amazing. I dont have any danruff issues anymore like I did with past shampoos. Lathers very well, definitely repurchasing.

OUAI products are totally amazing. The shampoo lather's awesome, cleans beautifully and the scent is absolutely amazingly gorgeous. This shampoo gives a lot of body without leaving your hair dried out or greasy. I will always have this shampoo in my shower, it's my favorite.

I love the Quai Shampoo line for color treated hair, but that was unable in my local store. So, I tried the Quai for medium hair. No where near the same. The lather is different, and that great scent just wasn't there. It was okay. But, I've had better from their line.

Heavy fragrance
Cute packaging and nice size bottles but WOW the smell is so strong and not in a good way. Its heavy on the rose scent which gives a very mature smell… unfortunately will be returning

This is a new favorite!!
I have thick hair, but I felt like not as thick as others. I read several reviews from those with thicker hair that used the medium shampoo and so that was my choice. Solid choice! It's perfect! The smell is so lovely, not overpowering at all. I cannot believe how nice my hair feels after using this, it lathers nicely, you don't need a lot and it rinses beautifully. I was surprised at how my hair did not feel tangled or hard to get through after using the shampoo and before applying conditioner. As much as I am not a fan of the price, I will continue to pay for this brand. It's a new favorite for sure and will be continuing to use. I am not a fan of the price point, however, it's worth it. The quality is unbeatable. 10/10 for me!

Its a good shampoo, just didn't really do much for my hair. Not much bad to say about it or much good. I love the smell though.
