How To Use:
• Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends with luke warm water.
• Lather a quarter size amount of FINE shampoo in hands. Work shampoo into roots and any where hair touches the scalp.
• Rinse shampoo. Squeeze out excess moisture before applying conditioner.
• Apply a quarter size amount of FINE conditioner focusing on midshaft and ends.
• Rinse with cold water to close the hair cuticle and add shine.

Ehh not my thing
The sent for this shampoo was very strong and it did not let up. I’ve washed my have 3 times and it still smells like rose. Now if you like that then you probably wouldn’t have a problem with this shampoo. It lathers fine and I do feel like it cleaned my hair. But the smell was too much. I will say I do prefer there detox shampoo.

Dont buy this product !!!
I think they changed something in this shampoo because I used to use this like two years ago and it never made my hair fall out or feel really oily and dry and I think it is causing my hair to thin out as well. I ended up buying the travel size just because like it’s so expensive that’s all I can afford And honestly I’m gonna throw it away because it’s making my hair feel so dull and oily and I don’t like it please don’t buy this product.

Colored hair beware
I have oily, fine and flat hair. I bought this hoping it would be worth the hype. Alas, I was disappointed. This provided no volume, tamed no frizz and stripped my salon color almost completely in one wash. Also, I have to wash my hair every day with this in order for my hair to not look greasy. The only good thing about this product is the smell, as it lasts over 24hrs.

this really just does the bare minimum. smells good, cleans your hair okay enough, though I did have to double shampoo if I had dry shampoo on my scalp as it takes some work to get it to lather. as someone with fine hair, I didn't find this especially suited to it, especially since I have an oily scalp and need something that isn't so lightweight that it won't cut through the grease. hard pass on this, especially considering the price; I get a better clean from drugstore.

Used it once, immediately was not a fan. Hair felt dry after washing. Didn't want to use it again for fear of it causing damage to hair. Shame, was really hoping it would work. Would not recommend for thin, dark, straight hair.

Amazing shampoo (and conditioner)!
I have fine, highlighted hair that can be dry and fragile at the ends. I have tried many shampoos and conditioners. This is by far the best I've found. I have always applied argan oil as a leave-in after shampooing and conditioning, and am doing the same with the Ouai shampoo and conditioner. I noticed that my hair was softer and shinier after one use, and the texture has continued to improve over the last few weeks of use. I highly recommend these products for anyone with fine, fragile hair.

Scent is too strong.
I have fine, wavy hair that's been starting to feel dryer than normal. Thought I'd try this. My hair looked SO MUCH better after once wash. Shiny and bouncy after just letting it air dry. But the scent is so strong. It was making my eyes burn even after my hair dried. Almost 48 hours after washing it, I still smelled it. After washing it twice with another shampoo, still smelled it. GREAT product if you're not sensitive to smells, but I'd stay away if you are.

I would not buy this product
Didn't feel big much of a difference in my hair. The scent could be better. The biggest issue is the packaging. It is a travel size but it leaks a lot! Messed up my toiletry bag and wasted almost half of the liquid.

Best hair of my life
For close to 10 years I used the Paul mitchell lemon sage thickening shampoo for my baby fine, straight hair. They reformulated last year and the new formula smelled different and I noticed my hair becoming brittle and falling out. As I had recently turned 40, I wasn't sure if was age related, but I tried the Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo for several months, and that left my hair flat and limp. I decided one last try to splurge on the Ouai Shampoo for Fine Hair. For a week I hated the old lady smell and my hair was limp. But after a week I began to notice a healthier, shinier hair with more volume. I have been able to skip washes without oily look and I can now say I am happier with my hair than I have ever been in my life. The smell has also grown on me and I don't mind it as much, and regardless, it is worth the result. I use with the matching shampoo and the Bumble and Bumble thickening mousse. This is my new favorite shampoo and conditioner, so please don't reformulate!!

Causes breakage
I bought the travel size shampoo and conditioner to try it out, and I'm glad I got the small size. I used them for a week before the bottles ran out. I had an enormous amount of breakage and my hair was super frizzy.

The smell…
I underestimated the reviews I read that talked about how strong the smell of this shampoo/conditioner set. I am someone who is not sensitive to strong smells, but this shampoo knocked me off my feet. I used the set once and the strong "grandma" smell stayed on my hair for days. It took 2 washes of clarifying shampoo before I could get the smell out. I didn't try the shampoo more than the first time due to the smell, so I don't know if the product even works well. (The one shampoo use gave me a massive scalp breakout, but without trying it more I dont know if it would have cleared up)

This expensive shampoo made my hair dull, flat, and greasy with repeated use. As I run my fingers through my hair, I can feel a heavy, bordering on tacky, residue left behind. I enjoy this brand, but skip their shampoos. The Detox shampoo is overhyped as well.
