I used this product a lot during my baby’s first month of life because I was really concerned with SIDS. The sock really gave me that peace of mind and the cam was nice for me to check on baby whenever I wanted. The app is really cool because you can pair the camera and sock to it and it shows you whether the baby is peaceful or active, oxygen, humidity in the room, and room temp info, etc. I still use the camera every day but the sock I don’t use as much now that he’s 4 months old. I do wish the camera had it’s own separate monitor I could purchase so I don’t have to keep the app open (but I will probably just used my iPad mini as the monitor) and that the sock wasn’t so sensitive to when it’s not positioned perfectly because the alert is really loud and would wake us up (sleep is so important and valued during that first few weeks too!) Overall I would recommend the duo if you are concerned/ stressed about SIDS and of your child randomly stopping breathing while sleeping like I did. I will use the sock again once he transitions to his own room!

I previously tried other smart cameras and baby vital monitoring tools, but i was dissatisfied with the connectivity and app. The Owlet Dream Duo 2 had zero issues, and has worked perfectly since Day 1. The CAMERA allows us to watch or baby from anywhere, and lets us know the temperature of the baby room. The SOCK monitors our baby’s sleep, and provides the reassurance a new parent enjoys. This technology works, and connectivity has been great. As an added bonus, these products are backed up with great customer support!

We got this in anticipation of our little one entering the world, so that we could monitor her visually, but more for the dream sock so we wouldn't sleep with one eye open trying to see if she's still breathing. The sock can be a pain at times with the fit and charging and the beeping from the station dock if It's not fitted correctly, but I would say overall It does what we bought it for. The Camera is excellent in quality with light and in the dark. The app is user friendly and I would recommend this product for any parent looking to purchase any monitor equipment.

I bought these products because I had a premature baby before and that scared he heck out of me while I slept because he was still so tiny and fragile. Days and nights with constant anxiety ruined me at that moment and I never felt calm. I think it’s too coincidental for our sock to stop giving readings almost exactly after our son turns a year old and the “warranty” is expired to replace the sensor(warranty is apparently good for 1 year). Why would I put out more money for another sensor that will only be good for so long? The products we purchased from you Owlet are already extremely expensive. To then be told there’s nothing they can do accept offer a discount for another sensor. It all seems like a money grab. I will not be recommending this product to anyone and will discourage them from doing so. I will leave this comment on every platform I can (wherever your products are sold) so that other parents are warned and don’t have to bother wasting their money. ***AGAIN*** the quality of this product only lasts for so long.

I would highly recommend the Dream Duo to any parent! I sleep so well at night knowing my son is being monitored. If he seems stuffy or like he is not feeling well, it gives me such comfort to be able to see his oxygen and heartrate, and has been helpful to let the doctor know his stats when I call in with questions or concerns. When my mom babysits, its also nice to be able to check in on my son while I am out. My cousin also has an Owlet and was alerted when he son's oxygen was low. She took him to the ER and he was admitted. Without the Owlet, she would have not known to take him in. I am a worrier, and the Owlet definitely gives me peace of mind. We received this as a gift for our newborn and have used it since day one. The compact size allows the base to be placed anywhere you need. The sock is very self-explanatory once you attempt to place it on your little one’s foot as it says their range of usability and which foot to place it on just in case you need either sock. The cam2 video quality is great, and the smart features such as cry detection is very responsive. It can be dialed in to meet your sensitivity levels needed. My only drawback to this product is that the app connectivity for the IOS version seems to take a while to load at times, and the range from the base station to the sock could be extended for future models. *This review reflects my experience with and opinion of this product as an actual customer. It won’t connect to a standard 5ghz internet. Spectrums newer routers automatic choose 5ghz most of the time so it will not connect. I had to buy a whole new router to be able to access 2.4ghz internet. The app takes forever to load when you want to check on the baby, especially the camera. The camera will lose connection often, especially with sound. I tried to take a nap with the app up and it disconnected and didn’t let me know when baby woke up. The video quality isn’t great either. It’s absolutely not worth the money. It may be disconnected when/if something happens with the baby and you wouldn’t even know.

The hospital sent us home with a pulse/ox machine that was horrible! Every time baby moved and it couldn't get a reading alarms went crazy, not to mention it was attached to a chord... not baby friendly. The owlett has been a game changer for us! We bought 2 and monitored her all day at first. Now we monitor at night and nap times and during trial offs for her vent! My only complaint is that I can't use it traveling as it needs Wi-Fi and cannot connect to Hotspot. Otherwise this is hands down the best purchase we've made for our trach baby and if you have a kiddo needs monitoring I highly recommend this product! Owlett please work on making this device work for travel! Our specialists are in a hospital 4 hours away and it would help us tremendously! We tested it in tandem with our hospital pulse ox machine and consistently got the same readings. It fits comfortably in footy pj's and under socks!

I purchased the Duo w/ Cam set a few weeks before I returned to work. I wanted to monitor my baby’s sleeping habits along with having the peace of mind that he’s either sleeping or breathing well. I also love how the video camera monitors temperature and humidity. It made me realize our home is way too dry this winter and I need a humidifier. After using it for a the last two months, I have two things I wish could be improved. The battery in my opinion could last a bit longer. It’d be nice to use it overnight and at least until late afternoon the next day. I could monitor his stats from overnight until I return from work. Although the sock says you’ll get 17/18 hours full charge, it’s more like 14. Also the app can be a little wonky and require some restarts. I was worried about the alarm falsely scaring us multiple times per night as others stated, but honestly we haven’t had any false alarms. I feel pretty confident the sock is doing what it says it does. And it looks really cute on his little foot! 10 years ago when I had my first daughter I would have died to have this! Now on baby number 2 I'm so happy to have it. Love the fact you can zoom in. The phone app is so cool, notifications for whatever you need or want.
