warning: not recommended for senior dogs!
I do not recommend this product, especially for senior dogs. I used this on my dog back in October and it gave her horrible oozing splotches all over her skin. Two months later we are still dealing with them. They've even cost her coat to become patchy. There is a note in the directions that this can be harmful to older dogs, and I would heed that warning. My dog has been suffering for too long because of it.

Good but Not Perfect for Flea Control
The reason I think this is a good product is because it has some excellent qualities. It didn't require gloves, which made it easy to use. It washed away flea dirt and seemed to soothe my dog's dry skin. However, it fell short in providing long-lasting flea and tick protection. It also wasn't very effective against flea eggs and larvae. Shortly after bathing my dog, I noticed fleas on him again. It does soothe the skin, but its pest repelling capacity needs improvement.

The product seems fine, but concerning that these reviews all look like they’re written by AI. How many reviews repeat “this is going to be a positive review” “12 weeks of age” “18 fl oz”… look on Amazon… people write 18 oz about a liquid product…no one says 18 fl oz, let alone having that in review after review after reviews. These are AI written and essentially all the same just using synonyms. We tried the product last night and it did get a lot of fleas but there were still alive fleas on the dogs after the bath. I’ll update after 7 days.

Read Instructions Prior to Purchasing
The product is okay but I have white dog and it was a process removing the fleas because of a white dog has sensitive skin and if I had of read on the back of the product first where it states use once a week only, I would’ve purchased something better.

Ticks and Fleas Stand No Chance!
There are a few reasons why I really like this product. The tropical breeze scent is delightful. It doesn't just mask the smell, it actually cleans! Killing fleas and ticks for up to 7 days, it's been a game-changer in our household. The oatmeal formula has been especially gentle on my dog's skin. If I were to suggest an improvement, I'd love more variety in scents. But don't let that deter you, this shampoo has been a blessing!
