Vibrant colors! Easy Install!
I was super impressed with the colors on this strip. It came with some pieces that made installation easier. The only thing I'd change would be a little more instructions on whether or not it's OK to cover up the vent on a TV or placement, but given how every TV is different I can see why that's hard!

Vibrant Lighting!
I've recently set these lights up in conjunction with the Hue sync box and I am absolutely blown away. The colors of the lights are so vibrant and there are so many options to choose from regarding colors and gradient effects. My only downside is that the lights don't fully wrap around the tv, so if you're planning to mount your tv, the lights are only going to show up on the top and sides of the tv. I gave these lights strips 5 stars though because this is not a problem for me since I have my tv on a stand. Overall, these lights strips are phenomenal!

Great lights for movie room!
I was gifted these lights and I couldn't wait to replace the ones I had around our tv with the Hue Lightstrip. Setting them up was very easy. I downloaded the app and was impressed with how it walks you through set up. Initially, I had trouble fitting the lights in the brackets but once I got the hang of it, everything was good to go. I love how the app allows you to control the lighting and you can link all your other Hue products as well. The dimming feature is one of my fav features.

Game Changer!
I'm an LED light freak and having this product upgraded my space! I've always wanted the glow behind my TV but other strips were so hard to form around the back of the TV. The clips that attach to your TV allow for seamless installation and connecting to the app literally took 2 minutes. Being able to create so many different color ways helps with my constant mood changes! Love this product and would absolutely recommend!

Great Lightstrip!
I love the lights and the compatibility with Apple HomeKit. The fit has been good and the lights are very bright or dim if necessary. I can tell the lights are responsive and blends well with the video content, music or gaming.

Disappointed
I bought the gradient light strip today at Best Buy. The kit was $230 so when I got home, you can understand my disappointment when it wouldn’t sync with my videos on the screen. I had to look online to figure out what was wrong and found out I needed a WiFi connector. Went out and Best Buy had none in stock so I went to Home Depot to get the $60 WiFi connector in hopes that would make it work. Got home and it still wouldn’t sync. Then I see that I need a HDMI sync box. THE BOX IS $230 for my already $290 investment to even work. Disappointing and I feel as though you aren’t selling your products the right way. I had no idea how they worked and would never have spent $520 on a single strip of light that goes on my tv. So irritated and am at a loss. Thought I was buying the syncing quality when I bought the $230 box. At a loss at what to do and I don’t believe I can return it as it’s hooked up to my tv now.

Poor mounting brackets
The included mounting brackets don’t work very well. I broke my tv trying to get the light strip to stay in them. The light strip itself is great though.

Worth the wait
The gradient light strip makes watching shows so much more fun. I had a little trouble finding the right distance from the edge of the TV to install it, but once I got that sorted, the installation was a breeze. It helps that I already had a sync box so I didn't have to set it up. I'm sure we will eventually get used to it, but right now there is at least once a night where I marvel at how enjoyable the wall of color synced with the TV is. I waited a long time for the 55" light strip to come back into stock and the wait was worth it. My only small nit is that I wish it went around the bottom of the TV.

Lights turn on but that's about it
I discounted a star mainly because I haven't being able to test the lights in action since my Sync Box isn't connecting at all for me to try the full product. At the very least, I do know the lights turn on. So there's that.

Quality has gone downhill.
The backing adhesive is worse than awful. Fell off a smooth glazed wooden backing in less than a week. I’ve owned 3 gen 1 strips and 5 gen 2 strips and this has by far been the worse. Also the slightest bending messes up the leds both at the connection point and along the strip itself.

Good light. Sync good. Need more flexibility.
Very good ambiance light. Sync perfect with the sync box. If there are more than 7 section of lighting and possible to create a fluid effect similar to some cheaper light strip would be much better.

Clean your mounting area
Easy set up. Read instructions must important step is to clean your tv before installing the double side tape onto the tv. I used rubbing alcohol and have no issues it’s been hanging for a week now!

Well worth the price!
It's amazing how something as simple as an ambient light strip behind the TV really improves the viewing experience! I thought the colors changing with the scenes might be distracting, but it's not at all. Watching TV without the light seems odd now! I feel like it reduces eye strain too, maybe because there's less contrast between the black frame of my TV and the light colored wall behind it. I would definitely recommend this product, I enjoy it not just when watching TV or movies but playing video games as well.
