A: Hi there! Yes, the Philips Sonicare C1 SimplyClean is compatible with Philips Sonicare Prestige 9900 Rechargeable Toothbrush HX9990/11. However, the Prestige 9900 HX9990/11 toothbrush is equipped with BrushSync technology, which automatically selects the optimal mode and intensity based on the attached brush head and also the brush head replacement reminder. The C1 SimplyClean brush heads do not support BrushSync, so while they will function correctly, you won't benefit from automatic mode pairing and replacement reminder feature.

The toothbrush is controlled by the app which is disappointing. It determines when the brush head needs to be replaced Although the toothbrush is in perfect condition you are forced to change it. Poor quality charger

I love these products! This one is my fourth toothbrush. One big miss in the design of the travel case is it isn't possible to store the toothbrush, brush head, AND brush head cover in the travel case. Either the brush head with the cover has to travel separate, or the brush head cover is separate. Please change the travel case to allow the brush head with the cover to fit in the travel case with the toothbrush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When using the model HX999C and my phone, Z-Flip 3 Samsung Galaxy, I have always a location that shows a row of yellow teeth. Using the deep clean mode and high intensity just about always the lower left inside row comes up yellow. Then it offers touch up and after doing that it still shows yellow. I would say 9 times out of 10 it shows yellow but a few times it showed white. I have never finished a regular session where all teeth showed white. Only after using touch-up a few times it showed all white. This means I'm using the the brush more often going to 4 minutes therefore shortening the brushes life. As a result it's costing me more money because these brushes are not cheap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I luv the Prestige 9900 so much that I brought my 2 adult kids each one for Xmas presents.I only use one mode and that is clean and believe me it gets my teeth sparkling clean and white.However it can be challenging when you r uning the application with your phone in trying to get 100%. I only got 100% 5 times since using the toothbrush consistenly simce August 2024.The charge usually lasts a week.

It's a good toothbrush but I'm now on my third Prestige. The first two both failed in identical ways. Also the app is very clunky and needs more simplification.
