Yes, it makes a knocking noise when the compressor kicks on, but I read in the owner's manual to expect some noise as it was normal for this particular unit. I am used to it and the unit is working wonderfully for me. It is very roomy and I love how bright the light is. I was never concerned about not having a light in the freezer and there are no issues there either. I love it! It was reasonably priced and fit my budget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is okay however, it is as loud as a mule, plus I hear knocking sounds frequently coming from the rear of the fridge. This is something that I'll need to monitor moving forward, but if you're deciding on getting a new fridge I would pass on this. Or if you really need a fridge during the pandemic then make sure you purchase a warranty, because you never know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was purchased in December of 2017 and I have had (4) service calls from (4) different repair shop for the freezer frosting up and the refrigerator door not closing properly. I had to purchase an additional extended warranty because I had no confidence in the refrigerator working properly. Today August 6, 2020 hopefully I had my last service call. Verdict is still out. Hoping the situation has been resolved, this entire experience has been very frustrating.

We put our old fridge in garage thinking we would use it, but this new fridge has so much room we have not needed that yet. I didn't want so large a freezer at first, but now I can't live without such a large freezer :). I love the water and ice maker options, and love that it uses a filter. Having bad tasting ice was a major issue in my last fridge, but this fridge solves that without me needing to put a filter unit on the whole darn house or trying to install one just for the ice line. Ug what a trouble that would be, but this new fridge solves all that so nicely. I've had it about a month now and it's working great, no issues. I love it. I got a good service plan on it so no worries if something happens. Price was very good too. All things considered, a great purchase.

I need to call again for another repair. Issues i have had with this unit: water leak, freezer making ice on the roof and door not sealing properly. I had to wait over the 10 days to get it replaced after it was tagged as non repairable. I would never recommend this product to anyone am very disappointed.

Horrible experience between both manufacturer & store. Each wanted to blame the other and no one wanted to just fix the issues. It will be very hard to shop with either in the future.

The refrigerator hasn't been at normal temps for almost 3 weeks causing the food to spoil. We lost a great amount of food in the last 2 weeks. Food ain't cheap. We're still waiting to get the problem resolved. According to a Frigidaire representative another technician is coming out today from 12pm-3pm to see if they can fix or try to give us a replacement. Just want this issue resolved its been on going for almost 3 weeks already.

This is the second Frigidaire delivered and set up, the first was returned because it had a annoying knocking noise every time the compressor kicked on, I thought it was a manufacturing defect, the box store I purchased from was great, they delivered a new fridge, same exact model and same condition exist. I'm so frustrated and thinking of returning for a different brand.

This refrigerator came with our house and it makes a loud knocking noise. I have had it one month and had a repair man come out and he said it was normal, just the gasses doing whatever they do. I have never had a refrigeraror make a noise like this before. Very unhappy with it.
