Just moved into my first apartment and went to use this for the first time and it started smoking and made my entire apartment smell like it was burning down. I already threw away the box so I cannot return it. Waste of $$.

The box the toaster was in dented and crinkled but since it's a Christmas present I haven't given it to my step grandson yet but I hope it isn't damaged like the box arrived in. I don't like the condition of giving a gift in such a shabby looking box I will as I don't want to exchange unless the toaster itself is broken.

I know toasters don't toast bread perfectly, but this one is very dark on one side and very light on the other. I'll keep it, but it's not the best.

The openings are large and accommodates large slices of bread , bagels and waffles. It toasts beautifully in two minutes and the black and silver finish matches well with other appliances….I really it !!

I also love how it has a “release” button to release the bread a little early if need be. Pros: it’s wide enough to add in bigger breads which I love because my sourdough bread fits perfectly in it.

Firstly, the look of it itself made me so excited to start using it. Love how sleek it looks in my kitchen and how easy the surface is to maintain. It toasts my bread, bagels, and croissants exactly according to the settings I apply. Using it makes my morning even more enjoyable.

Reminds me of what the toaster looked like at my grandmother’s house. Functions as expected. No slower or faster than any other. It does have a crumb catcher door on the bottom and of course a dial to adjust the amount of how dark or light you like your toast. Toast openings are average and can probably take a smaller, split bagel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though I do own an air fryer/toaster oven type machine, it is so much more convenient to use a toaster for toasting my bread. I just need to pop the bread/bagel in the toaster, press down, and forget about it until it's ready. During the first use of the toaster, there's instructions to run a toast cycle with no bread so that any factory fumes can dissipate-- it did definitely smell strongly of chemicals, but after running an empty toast cycle twice, the smell decreased and was no longer noticeable after toasting my bagels. This toaster is a basic, no frills toaster-- but works just fine with plenty of options from lightly toasted to very dark/toasted. I also like that there's a panel at the bottom that you can detach and empty out to clean the crumbs (though removing the panel isn't the smoothest/easiest, so the construction there was not the most ergonomic). I also wish the power cord was longer so that I can more easily move this around my counter (I've seen some toasters have cables that can be retracted, etc. which would've been a nice feature that this doesn't have). The aluminum finish is nice, but can also easily scratch, so keep that in mind. Overall, a fine basic toaster.

The setting for how toasted the bread will be is easy to use and worked fine (as my wife does not like her bread as toasted as mine). A nice toaster for the price.

No more fishing with a butter knife the wide slots easily pop out bagels, tarts, and Texas toast... Best feature is the cord storage meaning no more eye sore clutter...

No frills, just a simple knob indicator for desired level of toasting, however the toast was very uneven. There are two slots that are not adjustable. The unit I received had a very strong smell the first several times I used it.

It has a 1-7 dial adjustment so you can lightly toast or really toasted your bread. Also you can lift up on lever to raise your toast up to grab it better when toasted.

It has a nice simple dial to set your toasting preference and it takes up a small space on my counter. Sleek stainless/black design looks good on my counter.
