Amazing picture and sound
Got this (75") TV a few weeks and have been really enjoying watching TV again - the insane brightness and perfectly handled dimming, pair well amazingly. Sound is really good, with some bass and is calibrated to the room. I opted for this over a 77" OLED due to the brightness + special coating eliminating glare - the TV is in a naturally bright room (French doors one side and windows on the other side) - any glare you can see on a really bright day during a dark scene is immediately eliminated when you shift to a bright/normal scene, amazing to see. Coming from a 2018 Samsung 8k TV, I am really happy and this is a significant step up. I think what sets this Sony apart from others is its image processing - everything looks natural unlike my old Samsung (and Samsung generally) which are super punchy, in a unnatural way.

Great TV
After 1 day a thin vertical line appears on sceen.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Uwe623. We are incredibly sorry to hear that a thin vertical line has appeared on your K-75XR90 screen just one day after purchase. This is certainly not the premium experience we intend to deliver, and we understand your frustration with such a new television. To see if this is a temporary glitch, please try a Power Reset by unplugging the TV from the wall outlet for at least two minutes before plugging it back in and powering it on. If the line remains visible after this step, it may indicate a hardware issue that requires professional attention. We want to make this right as quickly as possible, so please contact our dedicated support team at https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US&category=tv so we can assist you with a repair or replacement under your warranty. Thank you for choosing Sony. Best regards, Gus, Sony North America Customer Support

great potential
I have had the TV for a week with mixed results Picture quality is so dependent on the broadcast quality perhaps I expected to much. I have max signal strength and all new leads as the standard 2m would not reach Why 3 remote controls (purchased with the Bravia Quad sound system) the latter is superb I would have liked a Sony Expert to look at it Perhaps i have not optimised the settings Prime and Sony programs are good other services very from average to poor with pixelation drop out at times I am sure its just teething problems

Sony knocks it out of the park with the Bravia 9
Replaced my previous Sony TV (BRAVIA KD-55XF9005) which has performed flawlessly for over 8 years. The initial impressions are better than expected, brightness, contrast, colour and sound are all a step up from what was previously the top of the range model. I held off purchasing because I wanted to stick with a 55" model, I haven't adjusted my viewing distance and it doesn't feel overpowering. 100hz on the PlayStation 5 means the framerate is silky smooth, and is tempting me to go for a PS5 Pro as I feel I would be able to see the benefit now. I almost dropped a star, because I feel in 2026 we should have 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and there's no reason for it not to have a 1Gb RJ-45 connector (rather than 100Mbps). I appreciate most people probably connect with the wireless option, but I prefer using a stable wired connection. I've used a UGreen USB 3.0 to RJ-45 adapter to bypass the internal network limitation, as the UGreen is one of the ones, recognised by Google OS

The Bravia 9 is stunning
Ok, so I have been a fan of Sony products for a long time, in my opinion their build quality and longevity is always excellent. We bought the Bravia 9 to replace our 11 year old 55" Sony, tbh the old tv was still excellent and has gone to family. The Bravia 9 is stunning, although I had a little tweak to colour settings for our taste. I've had people say the way you control the tv is not easy but I've found if you just use the settings button everything is laid out and easy to use. I think Sony have done a great job, and I look forward to many years of use

A95l better than Bravia 9
Purchased recently after owning a Sony A95L. I don’t rate the Bravia 9 over the A95L. I will be sticking with OLED next time.

Amazing TV....
Bought this as a Christmas present (for myself) and what a screen. Was concerned about miniLed picture quality compared to an Oled but this screen is truly amazing. Very bright making it ideal for brightly lite rooms. No light bleed around bright objects on a dark background The sound quality it very good and this is not only the best screen I've seen but owned. It is a GoogleTV making it exceptionally versatile. You can download android apps. Bought a K-65X70U which is no way as good as the Bravia 9. These MiniLed tv's should last a lot longer than OLED as they deteriorate over time. Well done SONY.

Bravia 9 - what a TV
Bought the Bravia 9 75inch TV just before xmas as wanted to try something else after my 8K Samsung TV stopped working after 15 months. The Bravia 9 is a fantastic TV, picture is so crystal clear and a I would have to say better than the Samsung one I had. The user interface is clean and makes interacting with the TV an absolute breeze. A really great product !!

The best mini-LED/LCD money can buy.
The Bravia 9 is a beast of a mini-LED/LCD television. I bought it upon release prior to many online reviews emerging, something I rarely do with any product, because I had faith in Sony's ability to produce the best mini-LED/LCD that money can buy. And they really have achieved that. The image quality is stunning. Yes, we all know that OLED's can't be beaten on contrast and pure blacks, but the Bravia 9 gets so close that I doubt you'd notice or care. Blooming is kept to an absolute minimum. I'd say 9/10 I don't notice any blooming, but perhaps on the odd challenging scene I can detect some, but it's extremely minimal. Provided you're watching the TV straight on, the contrast and lack of perceptible blooming is top draw. And the good news is you'll still get extra punch over OLED on 10% peak brightness windows and upwards. While I am, for the most part, a purist and always watch movie content in Professional mode, I do like to apply Peak Brightness to SDR content. It looks amazing on the Bravia 9 especially with a well encoded 1080p (or even 1080i - in fact even lower resolutions are more than satisfactory on this set) and brings brightness punch that OLED just can't achieve. Obviously my review isn't to convince anyone not to buy and OLED. Back when I bought the B9, I was toying with the idea getting either the Sony A95L, LG G4, or Samsung S95D, the flagship OLEDs for those brands at that time. I opted for a mini-LED/LCD instead for my own reasons, and I don't not regret getting the Bravia 9 for a premium that cost more than all but the A95L out of those OLED options. It's really that good of a television.

My favourite TV so far.
Had it a few weeks now. It is AMAZING. It is another addition to my Bravia collection and it is by far the best so far. The imagery is very robust. Granted, the TV requires a good feed but expect perfection with 4K/HDR products. It can be tweaked to upscale HD and so on but it’s remarkably intuitive. The Beam Tweaters are excellent. Add the Bravia Cam and you have a very intuitive tv indeed. I love it. I would love to see 4xHDMI 2.1. Or 5 of em if possible. But on the whole 10/10. Very important: I went for the Bravia 9 over the Bravia 8 II because I have a very bright room and the Series 9 with the Cam, tackles that wonderfully. The camera registers the ambient light and adjusts brightness accordingly. Amazing.

Great video and audio quality
The picture quality is absolutely stunning—bright, incredibly detailed, and with deep blacks that make every scene feel cinematic. Colors look natural yet vibrant, and motion is smooth whether you’re watching movies, sports, or gaming. Paired with the Bravia Theatre 9, the experience goes to another level. The sound is rich, powerful, and immersive, with clear dialogue and room-filling surround effects that make you feel like you’re in a movie theater.
