    This is a razor with training wheels. If I were just learning how to shave my legs, I might want this. Otherwise, these gel sides are large and frankly, in the way preventing me from getting an exceptionally close shave. I can't even tell if I'm shaving through all of the slime left behind. I think they went a little too far with this one. Long live the OG venus :)

    This is the one!!! take note girls!!!

    BEST RAZOR!!! As a minor who recently started shaving, this razor is nothing but amazing for beginners. Every single time I've shaved, even when I'd probably did it wrong, it never cut me. Another plus, you don't fully need shaving cream! While I use it for extra protection, it's not necessary and still makes you really smooth with the "moisture bars" that are attached. I hardly give anything 5 stars, thus why I didn't but this product truly impressed me! The reason it got 4 stars from me is the price. The cartridge refills are quite expensive and don't last crazy long, but man your shave will be good. Another big thing: NO NICKS, BUMPS, OR IRRITATION!!! (If you use shaving cream.) From my experience if you don't your skin will be itchy but I have sensitive skin so it's difficult to say for everyone. I only had one big problem with this razor which could be completely my fault but it did struggle to get itty bitty hairs and my underarm hairs. But it exceeded my expectations when shaving arms/legs. Overall, if you're debating between buying this razor vrs a different one, buy this one--you won't be disappointed!!!

    Not a close enough shave

    I love Venus products but this razor just does not get a close enough shave. I will have stubble too soon and it doesn’t feel as smooth as other Venus razors I’ve used.

    Not a fan.

    The comfort glide gel stuff around the blade lasted maybe two shaves per blade. The blades themselves wore out extremely quickly and I have blonde hair and rarely shave. They were so bad I contemplated returning.

    Venus comfortglide

    these razors are the only ones I could use on my sensitive skin but the razor holder doesn’t stick on the wall well.

    Poor shave

    My daughter and I have tried these and neither of us feels like the razor gets as close or complete of a shave as some of the other Venus razors. I think the shave gel bars seem to get in the way, and the razor blades also get clogged easily and are tough to rinse out before going back to shave another section. I would not recommend these.

    Soap has pros and cons

    The soap smells good and shaves well. However, it also barely lasts. Once the soap is close to running out/fully gone, the blades become too sharp and cause cuts (even with a shaving oil or foam). I recommend finding a razor that is not dependent on the soap.

    Great razor
