Cookin’ like a 90’s mom tonight! Knorr rice sides are a staple in my pantry for quick weeknight meals. Between work and running kids to sports there isn’t much time to make dinner so this is definitely a go-to. We make a lot of chicken so this is a perfect, flavorful side.

Perfect for dinner, or for broke college students!
I used to get these as a dinner side when I was back home. Super good, the taste always hits, they've got a lot of other flavors and pasta types to fit any meal. This one is my favorite though, almost tied with the cheddar broccoli rice I'm currently eating. The instructions say to cook it on the stove or in the microwave with butter, but if you don't have access to those things you can actually still cook them and they still taste pretty solid. At my college we don't really have anywhere to cook these and I don't have butter, so I just fill the bag up about an inch above the rice with hot water from the coffee machine. Then just seal the bag and give it about 8 minutes and it's done. Good stuff. Doesn't work as well with the pastas but works good enough for the rice. So yeah if you're a broke college student and don't want to keep eating instant ramen and granola bars, this is also an option!

Delicious!
Super simple to cook and makes for a quick side. If made right, the texture is wonderful and absorbs the seasoning and flavors perfectly. Very easy and simple packaging, and yummy ingredients!

Recipe changed, now TERRIBLE
I’m leaving the same review here that I left on the chicken pasta because this one changed for the worse like that one did! IT’S AWFUL! I had an old version of the chicken rice in our hurricane stash and made it the other day, and it was delicious and tasted exactly as I remembered. Bought a new package, and it is SO BLAND. I had to add chicken bullion to make it edible. Stop cutting corners and ruining our favorites! I had the same issue with the new version that I tried the other day. Complete garbage, I’ll never buy from Knorr again.

I used to love this side and would even eat it on its own as a meal but now the flavor is so bland and mushy. At first I thought maybe I had a bad batch but it seems to be a recipe change, there are no longer little bits of carrot or pieces of pasta. I don't know what they did or why but I wish they would change it back.

Delicious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chicken rice is so creamy and delicious. I used it as a side dish for my roasted chicken dinner. The spices and consistency were amazing.
