[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not the best at painting nails as you can see from the photo but the color is good. It wasn’t too thin but did have to apply a second layer. The polish held pretty well with a clear top coat with no chipping and dried pretty fast.

Crisp White

It levels well, dries fast, and reaches full opacity after two coats with a glossy, clean finish. The brush glides easily and makes it simple to get an even look. I get the best results with a base coat, and with a top coat, it wears well on my nails and even longer on my toes. It's great for French tips, nail art, or a full white manicure, and the vegan, 8-free formula is a nice bonus. Thin it out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sheer white that too some time to build up for opacity but I made it work. Definitely had to thin it out to be easier to use since I was patching my cracked nail

Perfect dark blue
Never painted my nails this dark blue color. But I loved it very much. It is almost close to black unless you are in the light and see the bits of blue peeking through.

Doesn't apply smoothly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color of this polish, however, it is very thick and hard to apply smoothly. I did 2 passes, while letting the dry in between and it was still kind of clumpy.

Hi there RoyalA, It is wonderful to hear you love the pure, crisp white of the color Blanc, but we completely understand how disappointing it is when the application doesn't live up to the color. That thick, clumpy texture you described—especially when it makes a smooth finish impossible—is certainly not the high-quality experience you should have with any Essie color (looks great on your nail BTW!) The nail colors should all flow on easily and by the second coat the color should be perfect!

A true, white nail polish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a true white nail polish, and as such, it’s a bit unforgiving for those of us who aren’t the most talented at painting nails. That said, it provides great coverage and would be excellent for French manicures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent coverage. Love the brush! Drying out very quickly. Have to put two coats. Only downside is that the nail polish will start chipping off at the about day three but I’m OK with it because my nails grow very fast. I would buy this again because of the color, quick, dry, and price.

Bring back the ORIGINAL Sugar Daddy color
I, too, am disappointed with the color change. I'm also disappointed with the generic answers I see from Essie. For the sake of greed and profit, Essie has changed a classic staple product. It used to be a subtle natural pink, now it's giving cheap bubble gum pink. Since I don't want to be let down again, I am finished trying any more colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I don’t like the colour, I’m just simply not a fan of white nail polish, Essie does make very good quality nail colour products and this is no exception. The colour goes on smoothly and evenly, and the product lasted for a week without any chipping, until I just had to change the colour cause it was driving me nuts.
