Quality isn't good any more; these used to be great
This is for the slant tip one; I don't use the blunted point one. Anyway - I have a couple of these from around 5 years ago, and they used to be really good. But sometime in the last several years, the quality has dropped. I've tried a handful of times over the past few years to get a couple of backup pairs, hoping that I just got one from a bad batch, but at this point I'm going to look for a different brand. The edge is a lot thicker than it used to be, which means it can't grab onto really short hairs that are just barely above the surface (and which is what I need it for the most), and they don't squeeze together quite as tightly. I attached a few pictures to show my old one versus the new ones. In all of them, the old one is on the left (it has a very thin edge), and the new one is on the right (has a thicker / blunter edge).

Complete waste of money. I don't believe in spending more $ on big-name brands either, but this brand must have downgraded their quality control. Doesn't grip hairs no matter the angles you try. Thought would be helpful with two travel-size tweezers (for purse or travel.) What a waste!!!
