I used this item for 8 yrs. I used a plastic spatula and stirred for 20 min. each time I made yogurt. I used the highest heat setting on elec. range to heat it to 190 fast. Mistake. Rubbed off a circular patch, yet it still didn't stick! Got a new one to avoid microplastics in food. NOW I will only use med heat max and a silicone spatula to stir, much softer. Pan is very nonstick for many years, season it with oil one time after washing, put on heat for 30 seconds after rubbing with canola oil. Always preheat at least a little, pores open, fat gets in, aids nonstick.

The top, as reviews stated, will not fit perfectly ever but at least it fits enough. So i would have still kept or bought it again HOWEVER… My biggest concern, is that the top completely EXPLODED and glass was everywhere! I am a well seasoned home cook, and use to work in cooking as well. This has never happen to me, and there was no drastic changes in temperature to justify it. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
