All those tiny little holes actually do something. There's absolutely no need to use something to cut a straight edge. Once you know the length or the width, you find the little holes and you just cut along that row and you have a perfect edge that fits in your drawer. I cut my liners for all my drawers in my kitchen and bathroom with such ease - Genius idea!

Items stick to the surface too much
I thought this would be a good choice for my new kitchen cabinets but after just a short time, my glasses and dishes stick to it in a really annoying way, and it doesn't stay flat because of this as well. I now have to take everything back out of the shelves and try a different product that's smooth. I wish I could return these but I've already cut them into pieces.

Disappointingly uneven
This would be perfect if the lines were actually straight. Cutting this to fit cabinet shelves takes so much more effort when you can’t just cut along the grid lines. Instead I have to measure and draw out the whole template to avoid cutting a lopsided rectangle. Not sure if the ones I got were defective, but I don’t remember this being an issue when I first bought this exact same product a few months ago. Due to the amount of time this added to my project, I wouldn’t recommend due to inconsistency with the product.

Do NOT use on painted surfaces
I thought these were great… until I had to reposition a piece that had been under some heavy pans in the kitchen cabinet. It turns out that any part of these liners that had been under some weight partially fused with the paint underneath, and then ripped apart when removed, leaving a bumpy residue that then could only be removed by intense scrubbing with a wet sponge. These had only been weighted down for 3 days… I can’t imagine how bad the damage would have been if I discovered this weeks or months out. Do NOT get this if you’re looking for liners protect your shelves.
