Q: Can you dunk a basket

A: I can not dunk on any system, but that doesn't mean YOU cannot. This system however, has a classic rim which is fixed and not necessarily designed for dunking. We do not recommend dunking on this one.

A: Yes, this system does come with a plastic base that you can fill with either water or sand to keep the unit upright.

A: You could yes, but then you could not ever empty it if need. We recommend filling the base with either sand or water.

Q: I wanted to buy one for my 10 yr old daughter to practice her game (beginner) but don’t know which is which. What are these numbers: 32”, 44”, 48” and 54” represent? The backboard or the height?

A: The different measurements that are listed are for the size of the backboard that comes with the unit. The backboard measurement is the measurement from left to right.

Q: I live in a condo complex, so I will have to move this system in and out of my garage very often. Is it easy to move (by one person)? Also, what is the total height at its shortest setting?

A: The base has a set of wheels that can be used to move the system easily. You will need to tip the system onto the wheels so you may need the help of one other person depending on how strong you are. The total height of the unit when at the lowest height setting measures approximately 9.5'.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my 10 year old son and he helped me put it together. Pretty simple to do. We did it in about 1 hour. There were a few places on the plastic molding of the base that I had to trim off the excess molding plastic so the bolt could fit thru the hole. Easy to maneuver even for a Mom. It’s very top heavy without anything in the base to give that counterweight, but very sturdy and strong, should last a long time. Love Lifetime products!

I got this basketball hoop today and set it up in under an hour! It said I needed two people to set it up, but I didn’t need any help and it was super easy. I had this basketball hoop when I was a kid, and I knew it wouldn’t let me down for my son and me to use again.
