Accurate Bible Stories for Small Child
Good for child under 7 years old. Enough variety (not a lot, but, good enough for small child). Older children could still learn from the word spotting. Bible honoring accuracy (though very basic). Two complaints: 1. While the final story did mention that Jesus rose from the dead, omitting the death of Jesus on the cross was wrong. The picture could have been very simple and from a far away view, so as not to overly alarm a very small child. 2. While there were several darker skinned people, too often, the children had blond hair. And not one child (that I saw) had Asian/almond-shaped eyes. I am Caucasian, by the way. More darker skinned people and some Asian-looking people would make this book much better. Summary: Good book, but, Kenneth Graham's book "Bible in Pictures for Little Eyes" is much better (there is a toddler version of this, too).
