Q: How can this be considered free and clear and for ultra sensitive and reactive skin when it has so many chemicals and ingredients are not organic (further adding to the chemical load)?

  • A: Acrylates copolymer may be related to DMAPA allergy and it doesnt state their source. As well as Glucosides being made from Toluenesulfonic acid which toluene is also used in paint thinner and residues of it exist in the finished product most likely. They just want your money

    My new favorite

    I've dealt with irritated scalp, oily roots, dry ends, and recently wiry grey hair...I've gone from expensive shampoos to trying to make my own for relief. Until I found Vanicream shampoo, I thought I would never like my hair again. Please, never change the formula! My hair is smooth, soft, and my scalp is calm. All is good.

    Drying,scalp irritating, and insrant allergic reaction

    First wash , whole head on fire like ants are all over my head. Keep sneezing non stop , burning my throat just having it on my head . Superrrr drying , I have long hair and with only one wash was all breaking off durning blow dry. Like zero lather … I’m about to go up stairs and use a shampoo I’m allergic to just to get this off my head it’s so bad .

    FINALLY! An unscented, CLEAN shampoo!

    Okay shampoo

    I used this for a little over a month but have started noticing I'm losing a LOT of hair. I switched to this shampoo because I break out badly if i use shampoos like Biolage and Garnier. Guess I'll have to find something else for sensitive skin.

    It took about a week to get used to, now I love it.

    I used to have a sensitive, dry, itchy scalp. This shampoo has been a game-changer. I no longer have an itchy, flakey scalp. Other products like Head and Shoulders, leave my hair oily and needing to be washed halfway through the day, I still have flakey, itching skin. With big-name brands like Pantene, my hair feels clean, but my scalp itches and burns, and the scent is too strong. Prescription shampoo smells horrible and isn't realistic to use long term. Vanicream shampoo has seriously helped me feel confident, clean, and comfortable. I am also super sensitive to scents, this is scent-free and I love it!

    It Totally Works For Super Sensitive Skin

    It works for my son’s sensitive skin. He has mild eczema and dermatographic urticaria. Most regular shampoos make his head itch, even Head & Shoulders. This shampoo is the only one we have found to work among some of the odd the shelf sensitive skin shampoos. We learned about this brand from a support group. Give it a try.

    Vanicream Shampoo

    I started using this product (after trying other products) for my son's craddle cap. He is 10 years old and it comes in more prominent during winter months. I could not find anything to help relieve the crust and flakes without it returning. I tried this (as I have used other vanicream products with much success). His dry scalp was almost gone after the first and second use. I am so pleased to have found something that has worked for him. I hope you never discontinue this product. I am even thinking of using the conditioner for him. Thank you Vanicream!

    Very drying!

    Sooo incredibly drying!!! This didn’t make my head itch due to allergens, which is good. But oh my gosh, my scalp and hair were instantly fried with using this just once. And each time I have used it, the same issue. It strips my hair so much and with having fine, curly hair, it’s just not cutting it for me. So expensive for a shampoo that ruins my hair! I suppose it works as an allergen friendly wash, but won’t use it again.
