The Graco Deluxe Crib & Toddler Mattress features a removable mattress cover that is comfortably soft, water-resistant, and machine washable. For easier cleaning, this zip-off mattress cover is machine-washable (machine wash in cold water on delicate cycle, hang to dry. The Graco Deluxe Crib & Toddler Mattress has a foam core that is perforated to allow for increased air flow without compromising on firmness.

Q: Does this mattress need to be on a certain side for infants, or can the infant sleep on either side?
A: Mine doesn’t say that anywhere on it. And it’s not labeled like it should. Is that normal?
submitted byLola - 1 year agoA: We said goodbye to her bassinet (that mattress was plastic/ puffy/ changing table material) & she was 2 months old! Always had a hard time of getting comfy on her bassinet & from switching to that-- to this product.. she's been sleeping 7pm-6/7am because of how comfy this is. If you know safe sleep then this mattress is worth it.

Q: Is the surface plasticky like most crib mattresses? I'm looking for something that isn't.
A: No, not at all! It has a super soft cover on it!

Q: Does the mattress come with the mattress cover and water resistant lining already on the foam or do you put those on once the foam has expanded?
A: There are three layers of mattress cover over the foam core, but you will also want waterproof mattress covers to go over it.

submitted byStorkcraftProductExpert - 5 years agoBrand expertA: The foam core looks as though it could be cut down with an exacto knife once it's expanded. You will probably want to make custom mattress covers for the new size, though, as you won't want to use the foam alone without a cover.

Q: I've let the mattress set for the recommended time, I just took the 3 layers of protection off that I didn't realize but the one side is still flat while the rest is I suppose good. Is there anything I can do? I'm not sure how to fluff a mattress
A: Use steam to fluff it out, either a hand steamer or leave it in a steamy bathroom with a fan.

Q: How "water preof" is this mattress? Do I need to worry about getting a plastic liner for it as well for if/when baby wets through the sheets? Or it this suitable for those circumstances?

Q: What is the difference between the Graco Deluxe Foam Crib & Toddler Mattress and the Graco Premium Crib & Toddler Mattress? They appear to be identical with different packaging.
