Description

Dr. Scholl’s® Plantar Fasciitis All-Day Pain Relief Orthotics are specifically for people who suffer pain from plantar fasciitis pain in the heel. They are clinically proven, and scientifically designed and engineered to provide all-day pain relief from plantar fasciitis.

Why it Works:
Plantar fasciitis occurs when the band of tissue along the underside of your foot, called the plantar fascia, is overstretched and aggravates the attachment at the heel bone. This can cause pain with every step you take.
Dr. Scholl’s® Plantar Fasciitis All-Day Pain Relief Orthotics provide relief by treating the source of your pain. The insoles absorb aggravating shock impact, comfort and protect your foot with added cushioning, and support your arch to prevent the plantar fascia from stretching further so it can heal.

How to Use:
1) Your shoe’s current insoles may be removeable, if they are take them out FIRST.

2) Place the removeable insoles against the back of your Dr. Scholl’s® insole and trim to match the old insole size. If your shoes’ insoles aren’t removeable, cut to your shoe size using the trim guide found on the bottom of your insole near the toes.

3) Place insoles in your shoes’ toes first with the cloth side UP. Ensure the insole heel rests firmly in the heel of your shoe.

Recommend replacing insoles every six (6) months or at first sign of wear.

submitted by Melissa - 4 months ago
  • A: Hi Melissa! Yes, these are for both feet! The package contains 1 pair (2 inserts total), designed with specific left and right shapes to fit both feet. Q: Can these be worn in flats?

submitted by Amanda - 4 months ago
  • A: Hi Amanda! Yes, you can often wear Dr. Scholl's Plantar Fasciitis Cut-to-Fit Orthotics in flats, but they work best in more supportive casual shoes like sneakers or loafers, as their full-length design and heel cup add bulk and can be too tall for very flat or tight shoes, potentially raising your foot too much or causing bunching, so trimming and checking the fit is key. How to Try Them: Remove the original insole from your flat. Place the Dr. Scholl's insole in the shoe, fabric side up, to test the size. Trim the toe area according to the guide on the insole if needed. Ensure it lays flat and doesn't bunch up for comfort and effectiveness.

Q: Can I wear these in heels and sandals, will they fit?

submitted by Romo617 - 9 months ago
  • A: Dr. Scholl's Cut to Fit Plantar Fasciitis Orthotics are designed for casual shoes, sneakers, and work boots, and they may not fit well in heels and sandals due to their full-length design. They can be trimmed to fit most shoe sizes, but the bulk of the insert and heel cup may make them unsuitable for shoes with limited space. Dr. Scholl's Love Your Heels & Wedges insoles are better suited for high heels as they are designed to provide cushioning and support while remaining discreet.

Thank you Dr, Scholls

I have had pain in my left heel for about a year, tried everything! At least I thought. Found these and now the pain is slowly going away, I got to where I couldn't hardly walk! These have been working wonderful!

Did not work. Other products work much better

I had come down with Plantar Fasciitis two years ago. The doctor said to possibly get something with arch supports. I had seen these several years earlier, thus the only thing I could think of to get. First of all, my feet are wide, and getting shoes that are comfortable is hard. With the extra padding in the front, it made my shoes uncomfortable. Since the pain was near the front of the foot (most people, it is the heel), trimming this down in front would not be an option. The support was further back on the arch than where my arch is. My arch is a bit high too. So it did not help at all. Just made me uncomfortable. So within a month, I had to just get rid of these. A couple weeks ago, a friend mentioned a product that worked well for him. There are several manufacturers, but this is just a band about 2 inches wide that you put on your foot, similar to a sock with the toes and heel cut off. So after suffering 23 months, this product got me walking again like normal with minimal pain (before this, i struggled to go a half mile and after, i went 3 miles and felt better than if i just walked 2 blocks). I hope Dr Scholls gets a product similar to this and puts it in stores rather than the insoles - for the sake of others.

Relief at last.

After 3 months of stretches, exercises, etc., these plantar fasciitis insoles have in one week given me much improvement. I can walk mostly without pain for the day. Thank you for the insole.

Works great for plantar fasciitis

These insoles have greatly reduced the pain of plantar fasciitis. They were easy to cut to size and I bumped up a half of a shoe size to accommodate the insole. The price was reasonable. I've been wearing them in sneakers since late June of 2025, not sure if there's a wear limit. I may purchase another pair come fall. So far, the insoles are still intact and haven't deteriorated. I'm satisfied.

Why bother?!

So thin, you can’t even feel the difference so why bother buying one? Disappointed and I paid a lot for it compared to other items online.

Wouldn't recommend

I’m out all day for work. I’ve tried several several different inserts for shoes. Was not impressed with these. Not much support at all in heel or arch, feet were still aching by the end of the day. :(

Did not work for me

It has hardly no arch support, feels very flat and made no difference on heel. I still felt pain after wearing for 30 minuts.

Not useful for relief of Plantar Fasciitis

These are very flexible (too flexible) comfy shoe inserts that I am trying out. I am also trying other brands of orthotics. This model is named incorrectly. It does not have the arch support needed for plantar fasciitis. It may be good for people who work on their feet, but if they already have this condition these “Orthotics” will not help them and will not relieve the pain. They should be called “Comfy replacement insoles” and that would be more accurate. Also, the amount of non-recyclable packaging and anti-theft devices and shipping plastic that comes with this product is outdated and alarming.

Instant Relief

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and was in serious heel pain. The insert my podiatrist provided offered little to no help. I slipped these babies into my shoes and the relief was immediate and felt so good. After months of, what felt like walking on knives...the pain has subsided due to these inserts. I'm now a lifelong Dr. Scholl's Orthotics girl.

Works

Got these for work because I have to be on my feet the entire shift. They do the job. If I wear shoes without these then my feet hurt much earlier than if I had the insoles.

Shifted the pain

If you have a high instep beware. These add so much padding in the bottom that my shoes now press into the top of my foot. They seem like they help the heel pain only it's hard to tell due to the intense pain in the top of my foot. I have had the best luck with rolling my feet and stretches.

Made it worse

These actually made the pain worse, and even made my good foot hurt. Instead of just the first few steps being painful, every step hurt with these! Very disappointing purchase.

Plantar Fasciitis All-Day Pain Relief Orthotics

The insole itself works better in some shoes and not so well in others. I bought 3 pairs of these insole after going through the website's insole adviser. Disappointingly, it did not suggest to buy a 3-pack which is a lot cheaper than 3 individual pairs. So, I ended up paying too much!

Name brand is the way to go

There's a reason to buy a proven name brand. These are the BEST. I have very little heel pain after wearing them for less than 2 weeks. Remarkable. Tried lots of cheaper alternatives. I'm sold.

SAVED MY FEET

Work great and I walk about eight miles a day in them. No issues with my feet until they get worn out (about every 4 months or so) and then I change them out.
