Description

ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A. Henckels, the company that sets the standard for exceptional cutlery worldwide. The ZWILLING Pro 8" carving knife has a long, slender blade for precise slices.

    Best slicing knife you will ever own

    Best general slicing knife I have ever owned. It just slides through meats and vegetables (for example lemons) with very little effort. It combined with my 8" Chef's knife are about all I ever use any more.

    Great Knife

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for trimming and prepping brisket and other meats for the smoker. Love how sharp it is and how easy it is to keep sharp. Have had now for 8 months and it is still as sharp today as when I bought it. I use a Zwilling sharpening steel to keep it sharp.

    Everyone needs one!

I bought it separately because it’s not in every knife block set, but you don’t even need a knife block set with this thing. It can do what every other knife can do.

    A must have!

This slicer/carving knife is really essential when carving whole cooked beef or chicken and also when slicing raw meat at whatever size you need it. The precision on cutting and slicing is top notch.
