Description

Monoprice Cat5e fixed length network cables are the perfect combination of value and performance. Available in a large assortment of colors and lengths, we have a cable to fit every situation. Each cable is made of 24AWG stranded pure bare copper conductor pairs with 50m gold plated contacts (short body). Most budget cables skimp with only 10m. Each cable features color matched, snagless strain relief boots.

Monoprice Cat5e and Cat6 cables are made of 100 percent pure bare copper wire, as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, and are therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in Cat5e and Cat6 communications cables.

    Bad connector design

    Couldn't disconnect it from laptop- had to cut off the little rubber flap that was over the little plastic piece. Quite absurd actually.

    Great use for tight places.

    These work well in any situation, but being flat gives you a better fit in more locations that a bulky round cable.

    Hides well for tricky spots

    Customer needed a data run in an area where cabling was impossible without wiremold. The offices have a nice finish and running wire along the surface of the wall would have hurt the aesthetics...or would it? I've done some tricks in my 34 years of wiring and thought this one came out nicely.

    It worked!

    Cat5 Ethernet flat cable (100')

    This product can't be beat. Gets into places that require a tight bend radius where normal Cat5 cables can't. It is almost not visible due to its being flat. The beat thing is you can't beet the quality and the price. I would recommend this cable to anyone who demands quality along with form, fit and function.
