Description

An inexpensive addition to any multiroom audio system, the Bluetooth Receiver and CAT6 to RCA Audio Converter allow users to stream audio from their Bluetooth-equipped device to a home or business audio system via CAT6 audio. Audio over CAT6 eliminates interference and noise that can compromise analog audio signals over long cable runs. The Cat6 audio signal is fully compatible with the Cat6 inputs on the 14524 6x4 Multizone Home Audio Controller and Amplifier Kit and requires no conversion for use. When using the 10761 6-zone Home Audio Multizone Controller and Amplifier Kit or other audio system, use the 13356 Multizone RJ45 to RCA Converter for stereo audio to an input on your system. Installation is simplified with standard decora style single-gang box size. The Multizone Source Keypad with Bluetooth Receiver (13358) and Multizone RJ45 to RCA Converter (13356) components present an ideal opportunity for installers to add convenience to any multiroom system. The NO LOGO design increases confidence that end users will not simply look up a make and model to find it cheaper somewhere else.

Volume Control Lacking

Connect w/ my iPhone, no matter what cannot vol up/down, needs a manual dial to sit between it and the amp.....most annoying, its been years, why can't they improve this product with a replacement that handles vol control.

Works Great Value

I needed to give office workers a Bluetooth input to a sound system that was several hundred feet away. Perfect solution. AV companies sell similarly configured products for multiples of this price.

Love it

Love it. Perfect solution for replacing old whole-house keypads (that we never really used). Now it’s easy to stream from our phones through the existing whole house speaker and amps system.

Very good bluetooth range.

I installed the bluetooth receiver in my kitchen so I could stream music from my phone to the kitchen speakers. After turning on the bluetooth receiver it takes a few seconds for it to connect to my phone, but once it does it stays connected, even when I take my phone into adjacent rooms!

Excellent option

When combined with the Multizone RJ45 to RCA Converter, this unit allows you to locate a bluetooth source more centrally in a large basement or room and feed the signal back to a rack or remotely located audio system. I located mine at my bar so I can manage the music and the booze from one spot without annoying fade in/out common with bluetooth.
