Made of steel for a durable platform, it can hold power strips, power adapters, and various cables to help keep wires in order. It is designed to mount directly to Monoprice Sit-Stand Desk frames, but it can also be screwed under most wood or wood-composite desks.

Q: I am confused about how this attaches to the desk. Why are there tension screw clips in the photo if it is just screwed to the bottom of the desk? Additionally the clip position doesn't make sense.

A: Hello Lillillia, Thank you for having an interest in our product. The tension screw is used if you want to hang it on a bar to secure the tray. If you want to install it underneath, you are welcome to remove that part.

An essential must have.
Don't be a savage with wires all over the place, this really helps, I have a surge protector in here and hide all my power cables, then just one cable needs to be long enough to go up and down.. Its great. I got two one for each side but that was overkill one is probably good enough.
