Q: I see a lot of comments from several months ago that the boots are almost impossible to get on. Has this design flaw been fixed?

A: This has not been fixed, as of 11/15/2024. We tried so hard to get the boots on an American Girl doll and couldn’t get them on at all (we were really afraid that with how hard we were trying something was going to give/break). They will go on the Target brand (Our Generation) but the AG’s lower leg, ankle, and foot when held next to OG isn’t as narrow, which makes sense why the boots don’t fit. Shame because that was a main reason for buying this outfit!

They are a tight fit and works to keep the boots on the feet of the Our generation dolls. Please note that the boots may not fit other brands of dolls, as their feet are a different size and not compatible. The Battat Team

A: Hi Whitney. The Our Generation dolls are 18" dolls and the outfits are made to fit them. The Barbie brand of dolls are much smaller and will not fit the OG clothing. The Battat Team

Shoes don't fit!
Super cute outfit, until we got to the shoes. This outfit was a birthday present for my 7yr old, and she was very excited to receive it, but was left sobbing because the boots absolutely would not go on. I suggested cutting them but she is resistant to the idea, so we will probably return this outfit.

Boots do not fit
The boots do not fit a doll’s feet. My husband had to cut the back of the boots pretty far to be able to use them. I see there are other reviews saying the same thing, so hopefully OG fixes it.
